Since then there’s been so many of these. We are donating to Andrew’s (who is healthy and made $7,000,000.00 base salary this year) charity because he dropped 2 point conversion that potentially could of sent game in OT or just as likely if not more ravens lose last second field goal? I think the donations are because he and his girlfriend are receiving death threats. 2 Quote

He thinks Lamar could have thrown the ball better Andrews should have made that catch but Simms isn't wrong. Notice that Andrews is sort of awkwardly backpedaling/sidepedaling as he waits for the pass and the ball comes in low. Not ideal. 1 1 Quote

Makes an easy throw as hard as it can possibly be. Thought of you when I saw Simms saying the same in his next-day convo with Florio. I still kinda disagree with you because I don’t think throws need to be perfect to be “good” throws, but I like Simms and he obviously played the game at a high level and worked for Belichick for a year. So maybe he’s right???🙂 Edited 4 hours ago by dave mcbride Quote

Success Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I've seen that drop a few dozen times at this point. It's definitely not as easy a catch as it looked like at first. He was falling backwards, and people really aren't taking the cold into account. That was extreme cold, and the ball can be like a rock in those circumstances. He should have still caught it - but mistakes happen, these guys are all human beings. Fans should have to write "it's just a game" on a blackboard 100x. The reaction to these situations can get so unnecessarily toxic. 1 Quote

With his back to the pylon, I think Andrews also had to be worried about where he was on the field and not landing out of bounds before he got both feet down…that could be enough to distract him from fully concentrating on the football.
