No extra points in the playoffs!

Against the best teams, we tend to get into shootouts.  Our D can’t hang. Like the chiefs 13 second game, the rams and lions this year, etc. 

 

We should go for two every time right from the beginning.  If we are better than 50% at converting, which we absolutely should be, and considering our kicker is far from 100%, we should get some extra points.  
 

And that could result in us being up 4 instead of 3 with 13 seconds left for example.

 

If the team had been practicing that situation, and had some real solid plays in place, we’d have another advantage over the competition, who would be caught off guard.

I'll go you one better ... throw a bomb all 4 downs. Gives you a chance of either a completion, or pass interference, effectively DOUBLING your chances of a first down. 🤪

Baltimore got what they deserved.  They got greedy & wanted to tie the game with too much time on the clock.  If they had kicked the extra point to get within 1, they would not have had to go for 2 after the last TD & could have sent the game into overtime.  Too many teams go for 2 too early in the game.

I've seen that happen many times where they go too early.  This time not so sure??
