Its a fitting end to their season.  They opened the season by almost tying the game against KC in the waning seconds.  And for some reason its been a foregone conclusion that they would have converted the PAT and won in OT.  And here we are months later hearing about if only they had tied the game its a certainty that they would have gotten a stop and won in OT.  Cheers to the 2024-2025 Ravens! The best team that almost was!

Absolutely HUGE moment in the game.

The more I reflect on it this morning, the more I reach the conclusion: The Bills defense won them this game.

The bolded is on of them!   For all the McD haters… the defensive game plan was incredible and the Bills defense did what ..no one.. said they could do!   They contained #22 AND #8.    
 

You have to give McD credit as well for the decision to go for the FG on the 4th down.  It was risky, but it worked.  It proved to be the right call. 
 

I think in the 3rd quarter the Bills wanted to do what they’ve done in most blowouts this season… that is start with a long, punishing drive, running right down the field and taking their spirit!    It didn’t work.  The Ravens are a better team and you can’t do that.   Hopefully, Brady learned that you can’t do that in the Divisional round..   or the Championship game!  
 

I had zero concern at the end.   I just knew Josh would drive them for a FG to win the game.  If the Ravens actually would have got the 2pts.  No doubt Josh would have won this game!

 

For all the Hamlin haters …suck it.  Not only did he have a great all around game, but he made one of THE pivotal plays in the game sacking Lamar and forcing the fumble.   He deserves a game ball. 
 

This season and this game, as exhibit 1, I think we’re finally seeing the maturation of Sean McDermott and this team.  They look a lot like the Chiefs lately.  Doing just enough to win, waiting for the opposition to make a mistake and capitalize on it and minimizing their own mistakes. They’re fundamentally sound and able to win in a multitude of ways.  A lot of the wins everyone talks about how they barely won and all the things that they need to do… but here we are in the Championship game… one win away from the Super Bowl. 

 

10-0 at home!   Nuff said.

To be fair, the "refs gave them the game" meme is rampant. But of course so is "KC is inevitable" and "All they do is win."

I’ll remember them for being the “unstoppable”, historically great offense with two MVPs that somehow lost to the two worst teams in football. The over the top glazing of them all week was simultaneously nauseating and also exactly what we needed. No mention of the Bills beating the two 1 seeds.

I left there to move to socal. Cragmoor area we had a place at austin bluffs pkwy and Union up on a bluff. Great view. we loved it and I cried hard when we left.

I'm hoping that the scrutiny on the officiating in the HOU v KC game helps us next week.  I know it will be a different crew but does all the talk about the RTP calls seep into the sub-conscious of next week's crew?

I am overjoyed the Bills won that game despite giving up as many yards as they did in the earlier Ravens game where they got beaten by 25 points. 

 

The Ravens really looked like the better team much of the game, but the Bills still won--it reminds me of the way the Chiefs have won crucial games, and the way the Patriots regularly beat teams who played well enough against them that they should have won.

 

I am very curious as to how they are going to come out against the Chiefs.

Milano played 86%, meaning he missed 8 snaps.

Taron Johnson played 61% of the snaps, he missed 23 snaps.  Lewis played 24% of the snaps, 14 snaps  That probably means we were playing a lot of nickel.
Rapp played 32%, Bishop played 66%

 

Dorian Williams played 41% of the snaps, 24 snaps.  If we assume he filled in for the 8 snaps Milano missed, it woud mean the Bills were in base defense for 16 snaps  - that would be 27% of the snaps in base.

 

On the offensive side, for those wondering, Amari Cooper was on the field for 21 snaps (34%).  

Mack Hollins was on the field 32 snaps (52%)
Keon Coleman was on the field 40 snaps, or 66% of the time.

I'm hearing that we actually, really should've lost the game yesterday. I mean the media has gone beyond disrespectful of the win, and I've never seen anything like it. Even people on here don't respect that we dominated the first half and built up a 21-10 lead with 3 TDS in the red zone.  I'm getting depressed by it all. Just win by one point next week and then win the Super Bowl. I guess I'm just an unobjective Bills fan and we really lost yesterday to the superior team-disgusting is what it is.
