I think the Bills D won this game with 2 plays - the stop of the 2 point conversion. Forcing them into a FG in th 2nd half.

Bills D played well and was far from the issue tonight. McD comments on complimentary football, joe brady deciding to go full on conservative mode on the first 2 drives of the 2nd half was the worst possible scenario for the bills D. The opposite of complimentary football. Hopefully brady learns from tonight and we move on from here.

Not that I need the credit for it, but on the last drive for the Ravens, I placed a bet on them to win the game.......  Had it locked up as soon as I put the money down.  GO BILLS!!!!

Its kind of weird.   Listening to and reading the national reactions to this  game and this strikes me as funny.

 

Buffalo with a decimated defense misses a field goal with under 3 minutes to go and lose to KC 27-24.

 

The reaction is that the chiefs know how to win and they are fundamentally sound, this is what they do.  Like they had something to do with the missed field goal.

 

now tonight, Baltimore who gives the ball up 3 times and gets stopped in the redzone and has to kick a field goal, drop a 2 pt conversion with under 2 minutest to go and lose 27-25.  The reaction seems to be the bills were lucky and the ravens beat themselves.

 

So frustrating to listen to the hypocrisy.  Bill Bellichick's gameplan for superbowl 25 is in the hall of fame yet if norwoods kick goes through they would have given up a super bowl winning game ending drive.  The Giants are hero's.  

 

Anyway.  The same people who said Buffalo cant win without Diggs, then picked them to miss the playoffs then picked them to lose to denver then picked them to lose to Baltimore will now spend the week lecturing everyone on what Buffalo can't do and how they will lose in KC.

 

Go Bills.  What a night.

This is one of those massive playoff games where it is dramatic and far from perfect.  Should the Bills have put this game away by mid 3rd quarter?  Sure but that was never happening.  The play calling was odd at times but I can’t complain.  I do not have that feeling Bills got lucky despite the play calling and TO differential.   It is playoff football.

nah as I keep thinking about it playing for first downs and time to keep the defense fresh was probably the right move.

Should Buffalo advance to the Super Bowl I'll finally be able to watch all the pre-game media.

 

The 3rd quarter brain fart by Bills OC Joe Brady might just keep his butt in Buffalo for another season.
