The weird part of McDermott's speech was saying it wasn't fancy and looking at Josh who eventually clapped But whatever, we won! 1 Quote
Cotton Fitzsimmons Posted yesterday at 03:03 AM Posted yesterday at 03:03 AM Neither team played anything close to their A games tonight. We definitely had some divine intervention on our side tonight, gents! After all the games we have had end in heartbreak, this one went our way. Hopefully that was our offenses bad game and we can get 2 gems from Josh and the boys to finish the run! Quote

But the plays we called instead were atrocious which forced a FG. Edited yesterday at 03:07 AM by Governor 2 Quote
stuvian Posted yesterday at 03:03 AM Posted yesterday at 03:03 AM The extent to which we went full turtle in the second half scared me to no end 2 8 1 Quote

I just don't think the offense we saw tonight is sustainable to make it that far. Mistake free is good but it can't be your only goal. We have to push the envelope a bit and put the ball in the hands of the MVP in crunch time. I suspect and hope that weather conditions permitting the Bills offense next week will look completely different. It will be much more aggressive. In the first half the Bills O bullied the Ravens and that end of the half drive for a TD was a masterpiece. In the 2nd half they chose to go conservative. They won't do that against the Chiefs. 2 Quote

PBF81 Posted yesterday at 03:04 AM Posted yesterday at 03:04 AM I don't care if we win next week and then in the Super Bowl because the sun's shining so far up our arse that our heads look like lamps, I'll take it! kkim0904 Posted yesterday at 03:04 AM Posted yesterday at 03:04 AM We played great in 1st half but we almost blew it in 2nd Half. But, WIN is Win.. It is all that matters. Go BILLS.. 1 1 Quote

You mean the non-straight line that I calculated perfectly but you weren’t smart enough to realize that I took into account all the horizontal running as well? That’s what you mean? And then I released free software where you can map the same route and get the same figured I did? Yeah… And… checking my post you don’t like - it has more positive reactions than negative. So, you’re in the minority. Congrats. Edited yesterday at 03:08 AM by Einstein Quote
appoo Posted yesterday at 03:05 AM Posted yesterday at 03:05 AM Ravens were flat out the most talented team in the league, especially on offense. Combining that line with Derrick Henry and Lamar Jackson and Justice Hill with good WRs and an elite TE room? That’s a freakin cheat code. just really happy with how the bills D kept their heads in the game, never lost resilience and stayed opportunistic. Part of the reasons bills kept conservative on O was to eat clock and keep the pressure off the D. I thought that went too far with that but to some extent that worked to 2 1 3 Quote

What worries me is that the offense we saw tonight is the offense we've seen since after the Rams game. Plodding, conservative, heavily reliant on 3rd down conversions, almost zero outside passing offense. It's tough sledding. 4 3 Quote

Opponents come to our cold home field and get butter fingers. We're ready to play in the elements, they're not. Massive underrated advantage and I'm glad we didn't give it up. All credit to Beane for figuring this out and getting us an elite Oline!!!! 1 Quote

Dafan Posted yesterday at 03:05 AM Posted yesterday at 03:05 AM (edited) I am really hating this "Ravens beat themselves". Yes, Andrew's dropping the 2pt was a screw up by them. But those turnovers were our defense. Lamar's 2 turnovers were due to the pressure on him. Andrew's fumble....was a great punch out to force it. Edited yesterday at 03:37 AM by Dafan 1 1 Quote

McD made a decision in the 2nd half to play very conservatively on offense and in the end the Bills won. What we will never know is whether or not had the Bills kept the pedal to the metal they would have blown the Ravens out or committed a couple of TO's that lost them the game. Or worn out their own defense with quick possessions right? I kinda hated it? But I get it Quote
