The screens aren’t meant to be big plays. It’s an extension of the run game that is designed to pull a guy from the box if you do it enough. Obviously you want more than 1 yard on it but it’s not meant to go for big yardage it’s meant for 3-5 yards and hopefully more

Yeah, the Bass kick was too much of a scapegoat. We could very well win the Super Bowl, because this is an amazingly talented team, but I just wish we competed against our opponents instead of obsessing about running out the game clock like this coaching staff does.
