It isn’t uncommon for this defense to allow a score on the first drive. Usually they adapt and improve throughout the game. Let’s hope that happens today too.

Ugh they seem to have the run game under control but they are getting burned for big plays now

I’d rather have that than they just chip away at us with the run game to eventually score.  At least we get the ball back in Josh’s hands and our D isn’t getting exhausted.

We need to be more willing to play man. The zones get eaten alive against elite QBs in the playoffs, especially when we get zero pass rush

They played man some on that drive. The touchdown was against zone but the Bills were not in zone the entire drive.

Guys we aren’t trying to get up the field and rush balls to the wall, we have to pin in Lamar, rushing up the field just allows him to run for 20 yard chunks

lol…we couldn’t rush “balls to the wall” if we tried 🤣🤣🤣

They are only rushing insanely disciplined.  Everyone in this thread should be familiar with it, the broncos did the same thing almost the entirety of last weekend.

Looks like we are asking Lamar to beat us.  I’m ok with that.  I’d rather it be him forced to carry the ravens over Henry.  Not the outcome I want from the opening drive but I think they are doing the smart thing.

A little off topic..

Regarding the MVP talk.

Dustin Pedroia won it when his stats were respectable, but not near tops in MLB.

However, he was such a catalyst for his team.

Josh is that, but his stats are so close to the top too.

Just win the ring & all of this is just hogwash.

Yeah. Go with your best shot (Allen) to set the tone and take the initiative. At least you avoid the opposite.

But another poster said that deferring was a “good sign”.  Lmao.
