A good breakdown showing Dawson Knox’s value to the Bills

Some Bills fans are down on Knox because he does not show big time receiving stats. He delivers value to the Bills in other ways. He and Kincaid are a nice set of bookends for the Bills.

He played more than Kincaid last week and I have thought for sometime he is the better overall guy who is a true te.    Kincaid has just been ok, not what his draft status was …yet. He is the guy the pitchforks should be pointed at.

I see value in DK squared.  Dalton has some great hands and can outrun coverage if we utilize him correct.  Dawson makes the tough catches (annoyingly misses the easy ones) and battles for extra yardage but lots of drops makes it frustrating.

He was outstanding last week. I gave him a game ball. Not only is he a beast of a run game blocker for us.... he gets open better than Kincaid. He definitely doesn't run better routes so it is kind of hard to rely on it but he just consistently gets more separation even if its all a bit improvised. The Bills need to be willing to use him more in the pass game IMO. The early big play last week was a schemed shot for him. Think Brady needs to make sure he has 1 or 2 of those tonight too and for as far as we go in this post season.

Kinkaid has had an awful sophomore slump.  I think he's not be healthy most of the year.

 

He's got to get the magic back he had his rookie year, and hopefully today.

Kincaid has hardly been awful…you may have noticed that, for a multitude of reasons, none of the Bills’ receivers has had a statistically impressive year…it’s a hard position to learn in the NFL

I’m not down on him.  I just think we pay him a lot of money to do the work of the best TE2 in the league.  He is the best imo.

He's always been better than Kincaid. Criminally underappreciated by the fanbase. In addition to his blocking skills, he's made a number of incredible catches in his time here.
