I do think Daniels has that "it" factor. He's probably more in the 5-7 category for me right now. 

Burrows during his career has lacked the ability to be on the field consistently.  His talent is so great, that lift him above most.  Daniels is the real deal.  He is as cool in the pocket as Joe Burrows. He is doing what he is doing without the benifit of any super star weapons  on his offense.

I am not sure if you are saying Josh decided to just "huck it deep" or if you are saying he didn't run, because he is told not run.

Which is another thing. That entire franchise is built in honor of Ray Lewis. He's on all the promos in the game and people act like he's a God. Dude is a two bit knuckle dragger who would have never succeeded in life without football. He will be broke and penniless in the years to come and deserve all of it.

And time will tell if Daniels can stay on the field consistently as well. Which is why I say we need to see him have continued success. Daniels can definitely make that leap. Also will be interesting to see what happens should Kingsbury gets a HC job and someone new is brought in. 

 

Also, in my opinion, Terry McLaurin is a superstar weapon. Possibly the most underrated WR in the NFL. He's just never had quality QB play. And Daniels has a better OL and running game to support him.

I don't know how but for the moment I have a sense of peace. The team got their spark back this year. Think about expectations this offseason and here we are again: once again playing the Divisional Round at home against the Ravens with everyone outside expecting a coronation. No matter what happens I'm not forgetting the joy of this season and how much I love this new look.

We're going to beat them tonight,  I'm sure of it. Just had a good omen happen. Sitting in a pub in LA Thuile, Italy drinking a beer (because it's too foggy to ski), and just 5 minutes earlier I tell my friends I need to cue up some Goos, as is my normal tradition before a game. 

Guess what just played on the Italian radio station?! Fuggin Goo Goo Dolls! It's a sign!

Just got back from the gym - was wearing Bills hat and shirt, and passed a guy decked out in Patriots gear.  Gave him my best "Ha Ha you suck now" smirk with the highest air of mocking superiority I could muster.  Not sure he appreciated it.  Best part of my day (so far)

Daniels looks great, don't get me wrong.

 

But people were also ready to anoint CJ Stroud after year 1- And now this year he took a massive step back
