I do worry that after the horrific officiating in the chiefs game yesterday, if the nfl has talked to our games crew about not being nit-picky. Worried that they might have some bad no-calls today as a overreaction

Afternoon show is ok but not the same since Bulldog just decided he's not coming into the studio anymore. But it's the only semi listenable content on that station. 

 

Morning show is Jeremy and the kid desperate for air time talking over each other or him asking a "deep question" like "would you sign up for Henry running for 110 yards?" And the kid does that deep breath/huff thing and talks for about 3 seconds before someone else who sounds like he's in 10th grade comes out of nowhere and starts blabbering 

 

It's so bad 

 

They used to teach elocution in broadcast programs. Not sure that's a thing now

I’ve been hoping that Brady has been saving that for a game like this, because the lack of first down (and 2nd and short) play action has been my biggest criticism of him this year.

Burrows misses too much time.  Availability is an important factor.  Allen-Mahomes-Jackson-Daniels are the current top 4.   (Eagles fans probalby put Hurts ahead of Burrows too)

No idea but I feel like every time I listen (which is almost never these days) it gets mentioned.

 

I guess radio can be done from anywhere but you lose something when everyone is remote in my view.

 

I used to love Stern but I hadn't listened in years... Then I decided to check out his interview with that female comic who just did an awards show (I know almost nothing about celebrities) and everyone was somewhere else, including Stern.

 

It just felt so... Empty? I can't quite put my finger on it but its noticeable

Stroud impressed last year.  And was solid yesterday against the Chiefs (more yards, no turnovers,  two very good WRs injured, fewer zebras on his team)
He regressed when Nico Collins got hurt.   I think Daniels has been more impressive, and Stroud never had a tour de force game like Daniels did yesterday.

No doubt.  especially at midfield range in middle of the game after we've ran on first 7 straight drives.

No, and personally i think if there’s any human bias the refs tend to gift the home team a call or two.

1. Run gap integrity. Be where you should be. When FB Ricard is in the game, crash on him. He's always out ahead of the run. Use him as another body to clog the running lane.

 

2. If Flowers is out as most expect, Mark Andrews becomes their top target. Bracket cover. Hit him off the line.

 

3. Pass rush needs to be patient. Walk the pocket back into Lamar. Keep him hemmed in and make him play QB. DL get your hands up and cause some tips.

This is the game not to go sack hunting and rush too aggressively. Defensive line needs to be very measured in how they attack Lamar.

Imo top 4 QBS in order are:

 

Allen

Jackson 

Mahomes 

Burrow

 

Mahomes really hasn't "put on a show" in a while. He makes the one drive when he needs to, which is obviously the point.

 

But it hasn't felt like "how are we going to stop Mahomes and that offense?" In a while.

Stern was terrified over COVID and never came out of his house. He’s a strange dude.

God I wish I was there.  I know Bills Mafia will bring it today (last home game of the season!).  Goal is to force 3-5 false starts.  Stay safe and answer Josh’s call!   
 

live cam of Hammer’s.  Lot opened officially at noon and it’s almost entirely full.  LFG!!

Exactly. If anything the league wants a bills chiefs matchup. But they don't care either way , they just want the chiefs and swift to make the superbowl. 

 

It's really sad this is what the league has become but we live in a capitalistic society so it shouldn't surprise anyone. I mean our incoming president just started a meme coin with an expected rug pull at some point. Disgusting
