Warcodered Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago (edited) That sucks was rooting for those guys somewhat. But good news for Bills fans, whatever happens against the Ravens it isn't going to be as bad as that. I mean I'd really hate losing to these #######s, but they are a good team that you wouldn't be surprised if it happened, Lions fans have to be ***** stunned. If the NFC Championship ends up being a NFC East rematch got to root for WTFs because ***** the Eagles. Edited 6 hours ago by Warcodered 3 1 Quote

So...I'd be more understanding if it happened to us. Why do people keep bringing up injuries for a 15-2 team? They have had injuries all season and were still dominant the whole way. They went 15-2 with like 30 guys on IR but that was the reason for the loss today? The Lions have been winning these games all season Quote

Yes, but they still won 15 games. Those injuries they had were for majority of the season. They didn't just happen in the last couple weeks. They beat the Rams, Texans, swept the Vikings and Swept the Packers, all playoff teams. And they did that with a roster full of injured players. I don't think you can use injuries as an excuse when they played pretty much the whole season with them and still won 15 games. They barely missed a beat despite all that Quote

Here Ok. So, if the Lions won today and won next week to go to the Super Bowl and then got blown out in the Super Bowl, would it be injuries that was a big problem in it? They went 15-2. Aiden Hutchinson hasn't played since like week 5. They were 12-1 going into the Bills game. You can't use injuries as a big excuse with 15 wins. Especially when they were still as dominant as they were. Edited 5 hours ago by Buffalo03 Quote
Big Blitz Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Let me put this Lions injured D list in perspective How we doing tomorrow if the following were not playing: Rousseau Oliver Von Benford Rapp Bernard Yes the Lions hung on the last 5-6 weeks missing those guys - like the 2022 Bills they ran out of gas and ran into the wrong team. The Lions didn't run out of gas. They were still dominating teams. The Lions had a bunch of guys out before then to, not just the last 5 or 6 weeks. If they lost all those players the last 3 weeks, you can make that argument. Winning 15 games with an injury riddled roster is not the time to have that argument Quote
Richard Noggin Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Injuries CAN absolutely help to explain why the Lions defense had trouble tonight. But moreover, watching Goff tonight felt a lot like watching Herbert against the Texans last week. Multiple INTs on throws that weren't 100% terrible, and definitely were perfectly played by the DBs (Stingley got 2 for Texans and Sainristil got 2 GEMS for Commanders) who seemed to know the exact routes they were undercutting. The TOs were the main story imho. Not riveting analysis, but if the Lions offense doesn't turn the ball over FOUR TIMES they would have been in a very different position late in the game. Quote
Dr Krentist Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I just learned that with this Commanders win, the Cowboys hold the longest drought for an NFC Championship appearance 😆 1 Quote

Ray Stonada Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Just watched the replay. Dan Campbell costs the Lions with the overaggressiveness. You have Sonic running wild and you're throwing passes with your WR? Just stupid. Meanwhile, Jayden Daniels was really impressive. Rare to see a rookie with that calm. Quote

They barely missed a beat despite all that First, the Bills broke their spirit. Then, after they thought they had a signature win against the Vikings, they saw how awful Minnesota really was. I'd really hate to see a team win it all in their first try after decades of losing. They should lose, say, 4 superbowls first. 1 Quote

Look at what happened JUST now with the Detroit Lions fan base and their media. They kept talking "Super Bowl bound" "Super Bowl destiny" which made them over look Washington Commanders. And they deserved to get their butts handed to them last night. Quote
