Sharky7337 Posted January 19 Posted January 19 I don't know what makes me more sad. No bills lions or the fact the commanders still have knee caps. 1 Quote

You're definitely right about that... We were calling guys on vacation to unretire and start in a playoff game... I just mean we can relate 1 3 Quote

Their defense let them down...so many 4th down conversions allowed...zero pass rush I’d probably be drafting some mid-late round qbs if I was Detroit out of mild concern…yea the defense was bad but that’s pretty independent of how Goff played. It’s not the first time Goff has had a down game at the worst possible time in a great offensive system. And the wizard behind that previous offensive system felt he had to take a huge swing at qb cuz Goff just wasn’t quite good enough Edited January 19 by Generic_Bills_Fan 1 Quote

Bills-Lions would have been bruuutal. Absolutely brutal! All the Detroit ball washin' was starting to make me sick...🤢🤮 Way too over-the-top! Sense of relief now, but feel sorry for them... 2 Quote

And the wizard behind that previous offensive system felt he had to take a huge swing at qb cuz Goff just wasn’t quite good enough I think goff is a good guy and I want to root for him, but I think he's a much better version of Derrick carr. He shows flashes of elite play, and the fan base always says "if we just surround him with talent" well he's got elite pass catchers, elite OL, and maybe the best run game in the NFL. And here they are getting bounced again because he couldn't put on a cape and win a game with his talent, like a josh, lamar, joe or mahomes. 1 Quote

Ok but how does that improve Jared Goff lol this was the commanders…yea maybe you find a way past them with a healthier defense but it was just the first step. They’d still have to get through the eagles and whoever is in the Super Bowl. Do you have full confidence in Goff to get that done? I l think it’s pretty fair to have doubts especially when you couple it with getting pantsed by belichick in the superbowl with the rams and one of the best offensive minds in the nfl giving up on him not to mention Ben Johnson is leavin so that could have a negative impact too idk why we’re so hellbent on choosing one thing to get all the blame in a game lol. The defense was bad of course, but Goff wasn’t good either Edited January 19 by Generic_Bills_Fan Quote
Draconator Posted January 19 Posted January 19 So, how are the Lions fans dealing with this loss? Quote
Ralonzo Posted January 19 Posted January 19 Kinda feeling for Dan Campbell at his press conference, half breaking down... I'll allow them to win one of the next 4 Superb Owls just so the world doesn't get bored of the Bills 4-peat. 1 1 3 1 Quote
