Goff has taken the Lions as far as he can.  They need an upgrade.

I never questioned his ability.  It's more his durability given his light frame.

I feel for the Detroit fans but I had this weird feeling that if the Bills got to the SB against them that they would beat us this time. So I wanted them out. At the same time though Washington looked scary good tonight and Daniels is the real deal. I definitely dont want to lose to them in a SB (shades of 1992, which was a real beat down). 

 

Anyway great game for the neutral fan.

I believed from the jump that Daniels was better than Williams. He has definitely lived up to what I thought he would be. 

 

Goff is the same player he was in LA. It's why McVay went and got Stafford. The Lions we snake-bitten by injuries, but everyone is going to be a year older. They may lose both coordinators. They aren't guaranteed to be this good again.

Well the NFC got their upset. Tomorrow the AFC can get theirs when the Bills “upset” Hen.. I mean Lama…I mean the Ravens.

I thought Stroud showed a lot character today…very tough environment, with hostile refs, bad weather and no weapons—and he hurt his knee early in the game.  He threw a lot of great passes—several of which were dropped—and had some nice runs too.

Give Washington credit. But...Detroit was ravaged with injuries. You can only do so much with backups. So...I'd be more understanding if it happened to us.
