Who claimed that?  Would you care to explain to me the ways in which one can be legally detained???  They raided a restaurant with no warrant.

They are currently working to verify the alleged reports, but there's a bigger issue here.  They are being urged to carry ID with them: "Having your state ID is crucial, and if you possess a CIB, it can provide an additional layer of reassurance," said Nygren. "If you do run into issues with federal immigration officials, reach out to our office through Operation Rainbow Bridge."  This is to protect themselves from infringements on their 4th Amendment rights.  If there's no reason to believe a crime has been committed, then they have a right to not have to show ID.  If they are suspected of the crime, simply because they are here and are a certain color, then that's horrendous.  They may have already made some HUGE mistakes in New Jersey, that will have drastic effects on the future of the initiative to remove illegals.  If we don't value everyone's rights as our own, then we will soon lose ours too.  Ask yourself how you would feel if ICE came to your house, demanded papers, and then said they weren't acceptable.  You'd wanna go full 2nd Amendment on them, wouldn't you?

It's definitely a slippery slope but to be fair, mass deportations of this magnitude is bound to have some issues. It's like a bandaid being ripped off a hairy ass arm. Might hurt a bit, but it is necessary.
