BillsFan130 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I wouldn't get my hopes up on this upset gentleman. Whether Houston is Healthy or has a few injuries, it is extremetly unlikely they pull off this upset in Arrowhead 1 1 Quote
Success Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I watched a lot of the Chiefs/Texans replay last night. The Texans hung w/ them really well - it really hurt when they lost Dell. They can compete. The match-up of their pass rushers against KC's tackles is their big advantage. If they get a couple of breaks, it could happen - obviously not likely, but it's not as lopsided as the narrative is. 1 Quote

They think he is important. I don't think he matters much. Volume running backs who plough into the line for paltry ypc numbers don't make much difference to wins or losses, even by running back standards. 1 Quote
Brand J Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago 1 hour ago, GunnerBill said: Where they had luck this year was the Broncos FG block, that is a 1 in every 50 play, the Raiders botched snap when in FG range, and Likely's toe v Baltimore week 1. I do think they have had the break of the ball a time or two. You can add the pass interference call against the Bengals on 4th and long that bailed them out and a week later, the no call for pass interference in the endzone that should have put the Falcons on the 1 yard line late in the 4th. They’ve had a year of good fortune and bounces, hopefully it’s over in these playoffs. Quote

That's called the Najee Harris effect. As a runner Mixon is painfully average between the 20s. As a matter of fact I personally think Dameon Pierce is a better runner. But he has a nose for the end zone, is good out of the backfield and is a decent pass blocker. He also fires the team up and adds playoff/Super Bowl experience...which is all helpful IMO. Quote

I just don't think their chances to win or lose are dependent on him. 1 Quote

Their defensive line, like ours, will be the absolute catalyst behind the majority of the success this weekend. If they can get to Mahomes early and often they stand a good shout providing CJ doesn’t turn into the week 17 against the Ravens version of himself. 🤞 It’s tough man, part of me wants to face KC if we win as the narrative is always we haven’t been able to beat them; which is true. The other side of things is they’re theoretically a better match up and we could get some redemption for earlier in the year and that WC when Watson was playing. 4 minutes ago, Beck Water said: Any word on Bobby Trees? Maybe he fell down in a deserted forest… On a serious note, they need him. His volume went way up when Dell was done for the year. I saw a report earlier that there’s rumblings he will play? 1 Quote

Rice was out all season and they pivoted to Hopkins I'd say that's a wash at worse. Wash at worst? Rice was on pace for 1600 yds, and he’s much more explosive. But I do think Hopkins is going to have a big role in the postseason. Quote
JP51 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Texans D needs to bring the wood and create multiple turnovers plus 2 at least if not Mixon playing or not won't matter imo Quote
Governor Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Stroud still looks really slow and confused in the pocket. I see 8 sacks coming. 1 Quote

Houston (like Bengals before them) goes to him for hard yards and he typically obliges 1 Quote
