Whole thing is so funny cuz the chiefs absolutely own the ravens and for some reason nobody talks about it 😂. Lamar should absolutely be getting the Josh Allen ‘can’t win the big game’ treatment win or lose here.  Harbaugh/lamar can’t beat them regular season or playoffs.  The one time the ravens won out of the 6 attempts the chiefs fumbled the game away in game winning fg range

Great point, they were talking about advancements to the AFCC on Sirius the other day and who would fare better if the Chiefs got there. All 3 suggested Buffalo for the reasons you’re talking about. Baltimore haven’t exactly beaten the Chiefs at all under the Reid/Mahomes tandem, Chiefs lost it in their only win. 
Buffalo have had plenty success against that combination, just not in the playoffs. A lot of people think if they meet again this is the time Buffalo finally pull it off. Got to say, I agree. 
 

Im not in the group that believes the Chiefs are lackluster but they aren’t the exact force they have been. Maybe they turn it on in the playoffs and go on another run? Maybe not. 
 

Houston and either Baltimore or Buffalo all have serious chances to beat them when/if they play. Best of all odds go to the Bills given history.

 I mentioned this in an earlier post but it is absolutely MADDENING the ravens don’t have that label also.  Has to be one of the greatest hypocrisies in sports analysis lol 

 

its almost like beating the chiefs consistently in the regular season and losing in a small sample size of incredibly close playoff games is somehow worse than extremely rarely ever beating them at all 😂

 

Not saying this is how it’ll go down but for arguments sake if the ravens were to beat the bills then lose to kc they’ll be 1-6 against kc (0-2 playoffs) in the Lamar era with the 1 win being kc fumbling the game away in game winning fg range.  its kinda like avoiding that virtually guaranteed kc loss in 2020 by losing to buffalo works out in their favor

i for one will never understand cherry picking only the playoff games against kc.  The last two years they faced us they had a shot to continue an undefeated season against us and a shot to virtually eliminate us from even making the playoffs which they would’ve loved.  Those two games werent kc toying around with us not taking us seriously by any means lol they were essentially playoff games

If the Bills win, it will be about what the Ravens did to lose the game and what’s next for Lamar.   If the Bills lose, it will be about how much of a juggernaut the Ravens are.

Well if the Ravens win, their narrative will turn to “Well can they beat the Chiefs now”, because they got smoked by the Chiefs in the AFCCG last year.  The winner’s narrative will turn to the Chiefs.

I don’t see the ravens labeled as a team that can’t beat the chiefs hardly ever though…it’s bizarre.  It was briefly a thing then the ravens beat them by 1 that one time out of 5 and it stopped getting talked about

If they lose, I’m expecting a lot of Cover 1  type consoling …“the Bills overachieved this year “ and “everyone picked them to come third in the division  “ ( did they really ? Just the usual haters did I thought …)

 

Unfortunately that’s not going to make me feel a lot better …but not much you can do but cop it sweet , improve the team where it’s comparatively weak,  and try to climb the mountain  again next season …
