A fantastic Monday to Saturday coach, is a great leader, developer and motivator of men.

Game day - hmmmm......you know how well that has gone in some of the big moments.

Not sure about most outstanding coach in the NFL...that seems a bit of a stretch to me. Needs to start winning some big game moments for mine. He has a chance to do exactly that on Sunday.

I want to see Sunday. He has come out of his shell more then every before this year. He has put his personality and touch on this band of merry misfit retools.

Let's see if he can do his part. Let's see if the 1/11 on the field can be supported by the 3 facets of direction and leadership on the sideline.

“Greasy” because he lets games slip away Happy The Office GIF

I’m only kidding I actually love McD I’ve been through the wasteland of coaches and he is hands down the best we’ve had in a long time if not ever.

He’s a really good coach, easily top 10.  He catches a lot more heat than he deserves, IMO.

He needs to get over the hump.

If he can’t make it out of the divisional round with the best QB on the planet leading his team, he’s not a top HC.  Regular season record means zilch, McD needs to bring a championship to Buffalo and time is ticking.

Exactly 3 consecutive years of losing at home divisional round would be unacceptable, especially after they directly follow the 13 second blunder in the championship game the year before.

They're home underdogs because they overachieved this year with a lesser roster.  That's on Beane who always seems to get a free pass.

Without a winning record in the regular season, you ain't even getting to the playoffs. Regular season record does matter. Of course, winning championships is what everyone plays for, but only one single team wins in each year.  Coaching matters, but so does player implementation, luck, and referee competency.

13 seconds, the Bengals and Texans disasters, and losing to the Chiefs 2X wasn’t on Beane.  It’s also not on Josh who plays out of his mind during the playoffs.  The common denominator is that the defense lays eggs against quality offenses in the playoffs.  Defense looked great last week, fingers crossed the stop Henry and Jackson.

He gets a free pass because he’s a masterclass at filling needs. He didn’t know Von would tear his ACL and he needed to do better getting Josh weapons in the draft earlier in his career but he seems to finally understand. McD is the reason we haven’t made it out of the divisional round last 2 years. He consistently underperforms in key moments. Let’s hope this year is different or better yet let’s hope that we keep blowing people out so it’s not even a conversation. Go Josh and Go Bills

He's a better salesman than McDermott.  That's for sure.  I heard all off-season how we were going to be ok at WR.  I agree that most of the defensive ineptitude in the playoffs is on McDermott and his poor game plan/execution.  I also put a lot of it on Beane for never hitting a home run with one defensive player in the draft on day one or two since he's been here.

100% agree with you there. He needs to do better on getting the team what it needs in the draft. D line and more WRs. The luxury safety picks are not needed especially when you don’t even use them over a guy who couldn’t cover his mouth during a sneeze let alone know where he’s supposed to be in any passing situation.

And traded up to get him.  Just like Cody Ford.
