Could a player that gets a lot of attention and promotes himself like crazy be underrated? I think everyone recognizes his value. 1 Quote

QB Bills Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago David Edwards. He's the key to the almost always guaranteed QB sneak conversion. 2 Quote
0017 Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago Ashton Youboty! Just kidding! 😂 For me it’s gotta be Spencer Brown, he is playing at a All-pro level and is only getting better, the entire O-line is absolutely balling this year and I think has to do with the approach and attitude he brings every game!! 1 Quote

muppy Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago Underrated this season? Ray Davis. Until he blew up. Ty Johnson. Same. Who knew they would be as valuable as they are? 1 Quote
Bills Fan in MD Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago Ty Johnson. The guy does so much. We all know about the clutch catches but he's also great at pass protection. Quote
Buffalo Junction Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago To the national media… everyone besides Allen, Dawkins, Von, and Milano. I’d throw Taron Johnson in there, but there are only a few pundits - mostly former players - that seem to understand his importance. Bills fans tend to underrate Knox. They often forget how good of a blocker he’s become, and neglect how he tends to show up at critical moments - especially scrambles. Quote
GASabresIUFan Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago Benford. He is a top 5 corners in the NFL, but no in the media outside of Western NY even mentions him with Mr. I wasn't holding Surtain, Gardner or Winfield Jr etc... Pff grade for Benford is 82.6 which was 5th of 223 CBs in 2024. After Benford it's Spenser Brown. Like Benford he is almost certainly in the top 5 players at his position and gets little to no love nationally. 1 1 Quote

ChasBB Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago Wow, 18 or 19 different players referenced in this thread so far. That says a lot about this roster that so many players fit the description of underrated. 1 Quote

Taron Johnson and Dawkins get some love here and there but that's about it. Just looking at some Spencer Brown stats. Only 1 sack and only 3 hits allowed all season. Those are insanely low numbers for a NFL tackle. Dawkins numbers are 3 sacks and 4 hits. Also insanely low numbers for a tackle. Edited 4 hours ago by GASabresIUFan 1 Quote
Orlando Buffalo Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago Apparently no one on the defense is any good, but of course most people only saw the LA and DET game so it is hard to argue with casual fans. On offense it is Shakir to me, no one knows who he is but he burns everyone. Quote
Governor Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago (edited) Cook. Fans think he can be replaced with any 4th rounder and I don’t believe that. His unique skill set and ball security commands a premium that we should be willing to pay. Edited 15 hours ago by Governor 2 Quote
