Texans are the fourth seed.  There is no system where 1 does not play 4 and two does not play 3 when the top four all make it to the semi-finals.  The absurity is the sole bye.

Sounds like Mixon is trending to play. Which would help the chance of an upset by the Texans IMO. Not saying they will buy it helps.

 

My best case scenario: Mixon plays amd leads the Texans to the upset win, but tweaks the ankle and is out vs the Bills (if we beat Baltimore). I wouldn't complain.

It was fine-  but they wanted an additional playoff team. So this is the only option.  Adding another playoff team in order to “not punish” the #2 seed is lame
