Of course.

I get that the 1 seed always faces the lowest remaining seed, but it would be nice if the Chiefs had to face at least a LITTLE bit of a challenge this weekend.

Oh well.

If the Ravens beat us you can all but guarantee Henry will pull his hamstring -and fall into Lamar giving him a high ankle sprain - on their last drive and will miss the championship game against the Chiefs

I think Mixon will play.  He doesn't have to practice to play on Saturday.  But that makes sense now why KC fans are so dismissive of the Texans game.  They are acting like the game is over and the Chiefs are already hosting the Bills/Ravens.  I hope Houston smacks them in the mouth somehow.

Take that 8.5 points Houston is getting. That’s such a high spread. Houston has a chance for the outright upset.

The number 1 seed is a huge advantage in this tournament. I liked it better with byes for the top 2. It meant that often both teams in the final game had had the benefit of the bye.  With one bye, it means the number 2 team has to go through a serious gauntlet just to get to the championship game, and face a team that had gotten a week off.

Change the name in the thread title to Derrick Henry and then I'll care.

Basically. Mixon or no Mixon, it doesn't matter because the Texans are not beating Kansas City

Do you really think that?  I need some positivity about that game.

I feel like the Texans have an underrated defense - but I'm at a loss to explain why their O has been so anemic at times.  Losing Dell & Diggs is big, but they still have Collins & Mixon, and their other receivers are capable for the most part.  I'd love it if they could put up a fight, but this game seems like such a foregone conclusion.

I'll be honest, I don't care at all what is happening in the Chiefs game. I'm pretty focused on the Ravens. This is a tough matchup.

I mean the Chiefs always seem to have everything go their way...it's so tiring.

They went 15-1 they earned the one seed. 3 games in 10 days? I didn't think they could do it.

I wouldn't want it any other way. I want to beat KC in arrowhead to get to the Superbowl.

Pierce is pretty talented out of Florida. They also have JJ Taylor who's not bad.

I honestly want to face KC just because of the bragging rights but obviously it's an easier path if the Texans win.

We need zero turnovers from Stroud. Maybe a special teams play from the Texans but the Texans defense has to play the greatest game they've ever played.

Anderson/ hunter and Autry are just going to have to wreck the game.

They have really good man CBS to slow KC down allegedly

Agreed.

I also think that Wild Card Weekend is now usually a watered down affair.

The 2 vs 7 game is rarely competitive.

The NFL needlessly punishes the 2nd best team in the conference for the sake of an added game's worth of television revenue. It prioritizes profit over the quality of the on-field product and fairness to the 2-seed team.

I wish they'd do away with the 7 seed format, but I know they won't. Money rules all.

I do. KC’s tackle issues are still there. Houston’s edge guys turned it on the last couple of weeks. If they can show up like they did last week it’s going to make KC’s offense struggle.

I’m definitely betting on Houston with the points for sure. Just hoping that more money comes in on KC to drive that line up. I already have a teaser bet with Houston+Bills locked in. Really seems like easy money.
