I think he's been inspired by McDermott to add dad jokes to his repertoire, so this ain't your grandfather's Leslie Frazier.

True. I hear he likes to go by Les Fraz now.

Frazier's a good coach & i think he more than likely learned a lot of things from his first go round that he might change, plus seeing what & how the Bills did some things i'm sure he was paying attention .

But when your working for Jerry none of that matters he had 1 of the best coaches ever and screwed that up by pissin him off enough for him to quit . I've done a couple of tours in that stadium and he micro manages every one that comes through the door and i can't imagine what it would be like to have him looking over your shoulder every day .

Saw a good quote the other day:

Jerry would rather lose doing it his way, than win with someone else calling the shots

They don't need a Rooney Rule interview.

Sanders is the main candidate.

Sanders is yet to be interviewed and, regardless, you need two interviews now to satisfy the Rooney Rule. They are expected to interview Frazier and Saleh to satisfy the rule by early next week. That then gives them the freedom to hire pretty much whoever they like on the spot after that.

How many times has he been thru this? He’s 65 and the longest of long shots, imo. Does he get tired of these “interviews”?

He could be a Rooney Rule hustler.  Pay me under the table and I'll give you an "interview."

From anything i've seen when i worked gigs at Jerry world in Texas that sounds exactly like something he would rather do . He's all about loving anything Jerry !

So, you think there's a possibility that they don't even interview Sanders?

I just get sick of hearing every interview of a black coach being called a Rooney Rule interview. Pretty much every interview, at least any interview conducted by a competent organization, is about more than the Rooney Rule. There's a ton you can learn from anyone even if they're not one of the top candidates. And every once in a while a guy will surprise and get a job he's not expected to get.

At the time which i'm talking about i was one of Toby Keiths crew bus drivers on his tours, I worked for him for 3 seasons that was 12 years ago . Great dude RIP !!

And we did a Taylor Swift - The Red tour there in 2013 .

Jerry can be a PITA !! He's at every thing that happens there and if he don't like it he will make you change it to fit his liking !!! I can't imagine being his HC ...

They will only formally interview Sanders if they decide they want to hire him and are confident he wants the job IMO. Essentially if he interviews, he is getting the job to me.

I expect some more flirting in both directions, some briefing and counter briefing, a lot of media speculation and then the Cowboys to hire Kellen Moore.

Wrong........they need to interview 2 candidates to satisfy the Rooney Rule before they choose elsewhere.

Jerry likes attention, and Jerry likes shiny things. I think Deion ends up there because of the attention it would bring to Dallas and the $$$ it would put in Jerry's pockets.

Nice guy, but beyond that I can’t believe a team would make him a Head Coach in 2025.

I'd take Leslie over Arthur Smith any day.

Why is Arthur Smith being considered as a HC candidate at all?

I have zero idea. If you want a guy who is a career OC from hereon in it is Arthur Smith.

Sometimes, that's about the extent of the thinking capabilities of some.  Probably why the Rooney rule was put into place.
