Bills fan since 87 Posted January 15 Posted January 15 Quick question for those that come from/park on Southwestern Blvd. I usually come down from Rochester through Batavia and park at one of the first house lots on Big Tree. It's awesome, an easy right out of the lot and smooth sailing back to Roch, once I get past East Aurora. However for this game I am staying the night in Hamburg. I figure I'll drop my stuff at the hotel and drive up SW to the stadim. But what's the parking scene over there? I know ECC is an option but is it an easy out to get back on SW? I know Big Tree turns into a one way post game and am unsure of the set up on the otherside of ECC; post game. Any recommended lots that are an easy out to head back to Hamburg? I'll be anxious to pour a stiff victory drink, or 5...... Quote
RiotAct Posted January 15 Posted January 15 get there EARLY if you’re taking Southwestern up towards Abbott… it was a total sh**-show for last year’s Divisional Round game. 2 Quote
JP51 Posted January 15 Posted January 15 Wish I had great advice.. its gonna be gridlock for a while after the game if you are staying till the end obviously if you get in private lots closer to 20 then that helps as long as you dont mind a bit of a walk... other option is bring hot dogs and fire up the grill for an hour LOL and take off Monday, its gonna be a late night. JESSEFEFFER Posted January 15 Posted January 15 There is a traffic light at the ECC exit onto Southwestern Drive that is controlled by a sheriff deputy. There are two other ECC exits onto Big Tree heading west and there are two left turn options off of Big Tree that get you headed toward Hamburg and would let you avoid the traffic light at the intersection with Southwestern. . 1 1 Quote

This. And they may only allow one way traffic on Big Tree and close Parker which is a great way to sneak back to Hamburg. Quote

I mean if you go left, i always go to south park-milestrip-90 East to get back to Williamsville. You could do that to 90W, or probably just hang a left on south park and take it straight to hamburg no? 3 hours ago, RiotAct said: get there EARLY if you’re taking Southwestern up towards Abbott… it was a total sh**-show for last year’s Divisional Round game. I always say if you can't get there before 815ish, you may as well come after 9 because its a parking lot until lots open. so in this scenario at 630 make sure to try and get there between 1-2? Quote

You can get to 90 fastest this way even back tracking. I do go west though. I park way north on Abbott on Meadowlawn or on Big Tree at the farm. Take a right out of there instead of left with traffic then an immediate right on to Parker which is sometimes closed. Quote
