The freezing mark is not terribly rare, and it just seems odd that Lamar could have played only 2 games below freezing. Regardless, I’ll take any advantage we can get. Those little towns in Ohio outside the cities can get brutally cold in winter...remember I was dating my wife who lived in a town of like 4K people at the time and when I used to leave in the morning for work it would often be below zero. Remember walking outside and my fingers just hurt from the cold and felt like frozen fishtsticks. But the worst places have to be near the Tug Hill Plateau where they both get bone chilling cold(temps to -20,-30, -40 at times without windchill) but also buried in snow the same way the southtowns/Ski Country does with multiple feet of snow off Lake Ontario. Yea it is a bit odd for sure…the 10 degree avg temp drop in Buffalo compared to other places knocks you into the avg temp being freezing which factors in I’m sure but you’d think he’d get unlucky and get more real cold ones in places he plays from time to time I wouldn’t be surprised to hear he played like 4 or 5 games in freezing weather but 2 seems wild 8 minutes ago, Big Turk said: Buffalo is listed as 2nd coldest city with Foxboro actually being 3rd. GB obviously first. Combined with everything...cold, snow, wind, Buffalo is the runaway winner in worst weather stadium for football tho...followed by GB and then Cleveland https://weather.com/news/news/2019-09-12-nfl-worst-weather-cities I ended up going to the pats Titans playoff game the week after bills jags….bought tickets in case the bills won and had some pats fan friends so figured I’d go and root against them rather than selling haha. I was like pssh it’s Boston how cold could it be and didn’t layer up at all. That was probably the coldest I’ve ever been haha Quote

bigK14094 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago The conditions will impact the game. Have the Bills practiced outside this week. I am guessing not. To much to do in the warm practice dome. Buffalo used to h ave a cold weather advantage, but that washes out these days with the indoor practices. Quote

They could just raise the price of the PSLs a few grand, and the price of the tickets 20 or 30 bucks ... easy peasy 😉 Quote

I would be instructing our runners to level Mahomes, Lamar, etc when they run. I’ll take the 15 yard penalty a few times. I’m not worried about them retaliating and trying to level our tank of a QB. If anything, i’d be more worried about tendons and ligaments in cold weather (they become more stiff and have less ability to stretch). I've said it for the last two years, if I see a star QB running and it's early in the game, I'm taking their head off. What stops Lamar/Mahomes from dancing is a solid smack up high. Quote

I usually stash my cigs in a hoodie pocket underneath (i don't smoke in the stadium, but its nice to be able to light one up on the walk to the car), but i imagine you can probably stash anything in there. 41 minutes ago, Cray51 said: I've said it for the last two years, if I see a star QB running and it's early in the game, I'm taking their head off. People say allen's strategy of running through people is more likely to induce injury but stopping/starting/changing direction while getting hit is usually when lower body injuries occur. Quote

RiotAct Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago yeah that stat for Lamar in games where the temp is below freezing is VERY surprising, him playing in the AFC North at all. Seriously only 2 games in his NFL career so far? Anyone know what the temp was at kickoff of the 2020 Divisional Round game? I know the windchills felt like high teens / low 20s.. Quote

Not sure if this has been discussed before. I can start a thread if needed. The stadium isn't completed yet. Maybe we can start a petition to slap a roof on the sucker. Quote
