I'd suggest Hamler or even Shakir - Lamar's lateral movement is incredibly solid, and Shakir has that same lateral agility and if the team can get used to getting Shakir on the ground (with his strong base), they can definitely get Lamar on the ground.

Milano has been awesome in stopping L:amr's running. I expect him to do that, but sometimes Johnson and others to vary things and confuse him.

Just heard a report that the Bills have brought in QB Anthony Brown to be "Scout team Lamar", so there is the answer to the question!

I heard that also.  I did check the Bills' website and Brown is on the 53 man roster.  I would have thought they'd stick him on the PS.

I think it was Dorian Williams starting, but they tried switching to base D and put Nicholas Morrow in, instead of Cam Lewis (who was playing nickel)

Yeah, 4 QB on the 53 man roster seems like a bit much.  I guess we have the space right now because we're (knock wood) carrying injured players who can't play, but who we don't want to IR

I wonder if they could just release him after Friday practice, and it wouldn't have an effect on the Gameday roster??

This strategy doesn’t make sense to me. If you’re carrying injured players on the 53, wouldn’t you have fewer spot to use on a 4th QBs?

We are NOT carrying injured players who can't play

In any event there seems to be some confusion (on the Bills website vs. X) as to whether he's on the roster or not so
