Special K Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago When the Bills played the Ravens earlier in the year, Samuel was injured and was certainly unable to fill this role then, however, now that he seems to be fully healthy could this be the best way for him to contribute to this week's game?? How much would having someone fast enough to simulate the speed and shiftiness of Lamar help the Defense prepare?? I believe McKenzie was scout team Lamar a few years ago when the Bills beat the Ravens in the playoffs, so there might be some credence to this strategy. Thoughts?? Quote

I think it’s funny that “the best way for him to contribute for this weeks game” is to be on the scout team when he led the team in yards last week 2 Quote

He did make a great play last week, and seems to be rounding into shape, so would the risk of pulling him away from the Offense be outweighed by the benefit of him being able to help prepare the D for Lamar? That was at the root of the question I am asking. Quote
QLBillsFan Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I do not think the finally healthy most explosive wr on the team will be spending time as scout.. that would be KJ Hamler. 1 Quote

Sierra Foothills Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago BTW, Curtis Samuel was hampered even starting in preseason by toe, chest, and foot injuries. He's probably the healthiest he's been all season. Quote

I think the Bills have a number of fast guys on their actual scout team who can help the defense prepare. For example, KJ Hamler was reported to run a 4.27 sec 40-time during a pre-draft workout. Jalen Virgil ran a 4.4 Samuel needs to focus on offense - we aren't going to beat Baltimore by shutting their defense down. 2 Quote

This has got to be the healthiest overall the Bills have been going into the playoffs....lets hope it makes a difference over these next few weeks!! 1 Quote
Prospector Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I had no idea Curtis Samuel’s first name was Will… that’s crazy Quote

Prospector Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago We didn’t have Bernard, Milano, or Taron last time… I think this is a totally different game 1 Quote
Kelly to Allen Posted 30 minutes ago Posted 30 minutes ago KJ Hamler would be is my guess. Samuel is a main rotation wr and might be RB3 this week too. Quote
MJS Posted 24 minutes ago Posted 24 minutes ago A practice squad player is more likely. But you're right. They did use McKenzie in that role before, and he was a rostered player. Quote
