Bob Chandler's Hands Posted January 15 Posted January 15 (edited) The most disappointing thing is this will probably prevent him from being the "Legend of the Game" in the AFC Championship next Sunday. Edited January 15 by Bob Chandler's Hands 1 5 Quote

Special K Posted January 15 Posted January 15 (edited) Whenever one of these idiots does this, I think of comedian Neal Brennan's joke on the subject: Football is a very violent sport, so when these guys assault someone like this, I think they are just doing "football" at the wrong time......."Oh, I was supposed to be doing "relationship", but I accidentally did "football". I had it backwards, we thought they'd take dareus and we'd end up with VM. I regret nothing. That includes passing on that KC QB in 2017. 2 Quote

I guess this is why I haven’t been selected as an NFL GM. 🤷♂️ First team All-Pro in 2014 and ProBowl in 2013. That's far better than any DL Beane has drafted or signed in free agency. He was an all world talent that went to crap after getting paid. 2 Quote
Prospector Posted January 15 Posted January 15 We should have drafted Limas Sweed first round 2 Quote

I mean JJ Watt fits their DNA but he probably wouldn’t have been in consideration at the time. I think they would have gone with Peterson or Julio It was really a great draft, especially for D-linemen: JJ Watt, Robert Quinn, Ryan Kerrigan, Aldon Smith, Adrian Clayborn, Cam Jordan, Muhammad Wilkerson, Cam Heyward, Jabaal Sheard, Da'Quan Bowers, Nick Fairley, Corey Liuget, Jurrell Casey That draft also featured AJ Green, Patrick Peterson, and Julio Jones in the first 6 picks. 2 hours ago, Comebackkid said: maybe he should have bought a boat instead You should be promoted to commodore! 1 Quote

We should've just let them continue free lancing then, because that DL was a menace. Remember the stretch of playing Manning (the good one), Brady & Rodgers, all while making them look awful in the process? Pretty sure we still lost some of those games, but the D looked outstanding & the line was racking up a ton of sacks. Didn't 3 of the 4 guys make the Pro Bowl at the same time? Or was that NFL Top 100? Kyle Williams, Mario Williams, Marcel Dareus & Jerry Hughes tore it up until Rex Ryan got there. Quote
thenorthremembers Posted January 15 Posted January 15 He and Marshawn Lynch are on my list of least favorite Bills. Quote
gjv Posted January 15 Posted January 15 Dareus seemed to become a GM's nightmare. A player that you pay and his performance deteriorates. Quote

Do you guys remember when Kyle Williams actually said this early in Dareus's career? Something along the lines of "I told him he can be as great as he allows himself to be." That was the first warning shot that a more competent GM (Beane) would have been VERY aware of before throwing a truck load of money at him. 2 Quote

Feels like you picked the wrong thread to try and disparage Beane. I’ll take what Beane has done with this team over fat ass having two good years. Thank you. 1 Quote

Of course, having Mario Williams, Kyle Williams, and Jerry Hughes on that line with him certainly helped him to thrive. Also having Schwartz at DL, who really knew how to make the best use of that DL talent certainly helped too. 1 Quote

He was and continues to be a complete idiot. Let me go grab a tiny violin for the millionaire who wasn't happy. My dislike of the guy goes well beyond not liking Buffalo. It has to do with him bringing his own alcohol with him to bars, hitting a pedestrian while driving drunk and then hiding from the police. He continues to be a complete jerk by calling kids nasty things at his football camps. But guys like you give him a free pass because he is a clown who eats skittles. I have no empathy for any player who comes here and cries about the city being small. Buffalo was plenty good enough for Marshawn. Marshawn wasnt good enough for Buffalo. As far of him thinking about me. Nothing gets by you brother. Really need to change that username from Dopey to the Obvious Guru. When people stand up for a guy like Marshawn it shows just a bit of their own character. Quote
