I've done it on one of those end of season rest your players before the playoffs games in 2019 against the Jets   I knew Matt Barkley would play the majority of the game & not Josh.

Easy money.

I almost did it again this year, but since I thought NE would tank for #1, I stayed away from the game.

I always bet on the opposing team, helps me feel better if the Bills lose.

Same reason I've had a mistress for the last ten years. If my wife ever cheats on me I'll be able to laugh and tell her I got there first.

I've made one bet in my life - not including non-cash bets with friends.    Many years ago, I thought the Bills line was shockingly wrong so I bet on the Bills.  I lost and learned my lesson.

On another occasion, I had to wear a Seahawks jersey all day because of a lost bet.   That sucked too.

My brother 35 years ago got himself into trouble sports betting long before it was common.  He’s a very bright sports analyst, but screwed up.  I never wanted to get into that habit, so I never bet, ever.  I have enough vices with enjoying a little pizza, steaks, or maybe a wee bit of adult pops only on weekends.

Thats enough vices.  On principle, I’d never vote against my beloved Bills.  That’s repulsive to the core.  I want to make more $, I’ll sell something else in medicine.

Im going to place a decent bet on Buffalo +1.  Im looking for some prop bets.  Hollins over 18.5 yards is one I am considering.  Im looking for Knox anytime TD, but my sportsbook does not have Knox on a prop bet

What Bills prop bets do you like?

I've only bet on sports twice.  In 2019 I bet the Bills to make the playoffs.  Made about $2,200.  This year,  I bet the Bills to make the Super Bowl...  we shall see :)  I only bet when I think I know something about the Bills that the masses don't.  And i guess my way of betting against them is just sitting out.

I wouldn't ever bet against the bills to win, but I would bet ATS if I felt the game was going to be closer than the spread indicates.

Does that count as betting against them?

I don't even bet on the Bills anymore (ish). I stopped in 2022 after the Packers game. I had like a 12 leg parlay for the game that would have paid out like $2000 on $50. Bills were up by and I had Allen on the over for 250 passing yards. The Bills were up by 3 scores in the third and I was rooting for Bills fumbles and Packers TD's so that we would start throwing the ball again.

I walked out of that game and was like "WTF am I doing". I placed one more bet on Buffalo this year vs Arizona, a couple of prop/parlays and missed and I missed it on taking the over on 3 catches from Marvin Harrison Jr. I left the game angry at a win again.

I am sure I will break my own rule again at some point. But I hate the way it feels to win and miss out on a bet.

I know the Bills are going to win, so I went to sports book.  They only pay $86 on $100 bet.  Knowing the Bills are gonna win, and my hunch is the Bills win big, I bet this instead:

Buffalo wins by 1-6 points +290

by 7-12 +550

13-18 +900

19-24 +1600

I did a $25 parlay Keon over 24.5 yards and Hollins gets a TD $245.60

Looking for hopeful reasons... just interested in why you think Baltimore is in a world of hurt?

1. QB play is advantage Bills, where we struggle is QBs who are accurate and on time (Stafford/Goff) paired with elite WR talent. Lamar while a great athlete is neither on time nor accurate. We keep him bottled up and force him to make tight window throws.

2. Bal D struggles with bigger WRs, while they may use Queen to spy Allen that gives one less LB to cover, and I like DK, DK, Coleman and Hollins against their secondary.

3. Josh will have time, I would argue Denver was better defensively especially on the back end and we still found open WRs - they also had spies and planned a lot of Man - Like BAL.

4. The offense goes through Henry...stop Henry stop their offense. I believe Babich and Sean have a plan for this. Having the middle of our defense back for this back is a huge step.
