T.E. Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago My rule is that I will only bet against them in games that I think they will still win but not cover the spread. Only did so once this year, in Week One against Arizona. Favored by 6.5 and only won by 6. I would never do this in the playoffs. Quote
JohnNord Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago I know someone who bets something like $20 against the Bills every game he thinks they will lose. His rationale is if they win, he doesn’t care about the $20. If they lose, it sucks but at least he makes a little money. So it’s a win-win. I have thought about doing that but never went through with it. I’d rather avoid betting on Bills games all together. 1 Quote
Another Fan Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Not a gambling guy but I could see it as a win win. The Bills lose- you make some $$$ to ease the pain (a little). The Bills win- well as long as it's not big money there I think it still wouldn't ruin a lot of fans night Quote
uticaclub Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago I take the ML against the Bills all the time, emotional insurance, as I call it. The only time I did this year was that Jets Monday Night game. This week, I parlayed Buffalo and Houston, so if it hits my flight, the hotel and ticket will be paid for. I got it around +850. 1 Quote

They win most games and I am also very glad when they lose. I never bet against the Bills. Quote

So interesting set up for that along with a lot of other reasons. I bet against them in the Bengals playoff game. It isn't worth it my opinion. These games a pretty special. Either a bet on them or leave it alone in my opinion. Bro keep this secret to yourself lol This is like the sports version of *****, you can't go shouting secrets out loud like this to strangers. I haven't. Couldn't. I won't even hedge my SB futures bet from September Quote

But you have to pick an amount where you still want to lose the bet or I agree that it would ruin the watching experience. Quote

I usually bet against them in games we’re favored by a lot so that just in case they lose it stings a little less but no worries I bet $25 on the bills vs lions SB at the beginning of the year so we’re all good 😉 Quote
BarleyNY Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I don’t bet very often - and when I do it is rarely on games with a team I am emotionally tied to. I only bet on the Bills once. I’d gotten a free bet at the casino downtown (concert perk) and won a little money with it so I laid it on a parlay for the next Bills game. It was the heat stroke Miami game. I don’t think I hit a single leg. Quote
HappyDays Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I almost never bet except for parlays that are like $5 to win $5,000. That's the only kind of gambling I enjoy. No risk, big upside. Of course I never win but it's just fun for me. I did something I never do and bet $1,000 on the over in the Bills/Lions game as soon as our inactive list came out. I just couldn't imagine that game not going over given the injuries on both defenses, it felt like a total no brainer. But once the game started I absolutely hated every minute of the experience and found myself feeling secretly happy when the Lions scored a couple TDs. FanDuel offered me a $1,600 cashout right before halftime and I took it. No regrets that I would have won the full bet if I let it ride. I was able to relax and enjoy the rest of the game and could fully root for us to stop them on every play. That's my long winded way of saying no I will never again bet in any way where I find myself wanting the Bills to fail. It takes all the fun out of the game for me. Quote
strive_for_five_guy Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I usually bet ON the Bills because I have faith in them to win and it sweetens things. I generally would only bet against them if I already had a ton of money riding on the Bills (like a Super Bowl bet), and wanted to hedge in some way. Otherwise, no amount of money that I’m willing to bet would make me feel better if they lose. Quote
Bookie Man Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Oh God yes. It’s win win. Either Bills win or you win. And I will gladly pay money to see the Bills win 🤑. It almost feels like you contributed to the win in a weird way. 1 1 Quote
Chas56 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago There are plenty of other ways to gamble on football. I'll leave the Bills out of it. Also, emotions shouldn't ever get involved in betting. Quote
pennstate10 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Damn straight I would. Bills 2nd team -3.5 against Pats was free money. Taking Cook to score a TD to tie a team record was a bit of a gamble, but paid off as well. Quote
billsfan89 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Not much of a sports better there was one time that I bet against the Bills and that was last year in the Jaguars game. I thought the Jags staying in London the previous week was a completely unfair advantage for the Jags and I knew the Bills were running into a bad situation. I took the money line, I made about 70 bucks on it. Can't think of any other time. Quote
