swede316 Posted June 27, 2005 Posted June 27, 2005 "An unused firearm at the scene"...Dosen't sound like AD at all..
Mark VI Posted June 27, 2005 Posted June 27, 2005 " The couple was in their late 50's , early 60's " Darins line of BS is that old, but he's a lot younger.
Gavin in Va Beach Posted June 27, 2005 Posted June 27, 2005 A bear would never try to eat AD, he's too gamey...
KRC Posted June 27, 2005 Posted June 27, 2005 In a match between Darin/Mrs. Darin and the bear, my money is on Nanook and the wife. The only thing is question, is whether there will be enough of the carcass left to recognize that it was a bear.

After all that would feed the Nanook clan for a while.
Alaska Darin Posted June 27, 2005 Posted June 27, 2005 The news of my demise is greatly exaggerated. Unused firearm? I think not.
Fezmid Posted June 27, 2005 Author Posted June 27, 2005 The news of my demise is greatly exaggerated. Unused firearm? I think not. 368583 They apparantly had two firearms (since they shot and killed the bear as well), so I just figured you were a good shot and didn't NEED to use both of them... I guess I was mistaken. CW

I guess I was mistaken. CW 368586 Ya got two hands don't ya? Chance favors the prepared man. Also, if you see the word tent, understand that there's no way that could be me or my wife. Tents in Alaska are the equivalent of hot pockets wrappers. Just gives bears a little more chance to play with their food.

Ghost of BiB Posted June 27, 2005 Posted June 27, 2005 Meanwhile, back at Darin's... Waiting for the microwave to ding
Thailog80 Posted June 27, 2005 Posted June 27, 2005 I don't think AD can be killed. 368679 He's a terminator.
IDBillzFan Posted June 27, 2005 Posted June 27, 2005 Meanwhile, back at Darin's... Waiting for the microwave to ding 368600 That looked more like the position for a newbie on PPP.

VABills Posted June 27, 2005 Posted June 27, 2005 So if you're not in tents, where do you two hang out? Tree stands? 368755 Igloos. Don't you know anything?
