Not only did he take the initial shot to the head that KO'd him but then he also hit his head on the turf on the rebound and going the other direction. Not good As good as Ty Johnson has been, I sort of hope Davis sits this one out and takes the extra week to play it safe. Gore Jr ? 8 hours ago, Captain Hindsight said: Thats not a chicken . I sorta don’t think Davis plays regrettably. Here’s to hoping we only miss him a little as we have slightly less efficient 4 minute drill with cook/johnson. Not necessarily. Friday is the last practice, but a player can be cleared based on working out on Saturday and being OK on Sunday But, Davis was listed as "limited" on Weds which is a good sign 2 1 Quote

Mr. Wonderful Posted January 16 Posted January 16 He's a darn good RB. Smart, plays hard, finds the hole, and keeps his legs moving. I see a little Thurman Thomas in him! Quote

Sweats Posted Thursday at 03:21 PM Posted Thursday at 03:21 PM Jesus, from all the reactions, you'd think it was ole Sweats that threw the lame duck that laid Ray out. Quote

I am just glad to see him up and in pads again... play or not. 1 Quote

Love me, hate me, i don't care. Total hospital ball from Josh. He can hang guys out to dry like that. Quote
Sweats Posted Thursday at 08:36 PM Posted Thursday at 08:36 PM In all honesty, if that lame duck throw was thrown by any other QB in the league and it caused his player to get concussed, you guys would all be saying how terrible that QB was for putting his guy in harm's way. Hey, i love JA, but i call it as i see it, fellas. 1 1 Quote

appoo Posted Thursday at 10:36 PM Posted Thursday at 10:36 PM Going back to the earlier discussion...if you've ever played the game in pads, then you know that kind of hit is always a possibility, and you either accept or you quit. As a WR/RB you also know that you're going to get hit, period. Part of the game, and you know you gotta stretch out no matter what, and you also know that every QB is occasionally going to throw that kind of ball. If you want to blame someone, blame the sport in general. 1 Quote
