Having zero lost fumbles by any running back for a season has to be unprecedented

Now we'll know who to blame.

I'm just going to go ahead and say it, but who put Ray in that position to get him hammered like that to begin with?!?

Love me, hate me, i don't care.

Amazing that the Buffalo media didn’t bother asking McD about Davis (or the fake punt) during his post game presser. Then again, they never really asked about what happened with 13 seconds so I’m not surprised.

Actually one reporter did. There is a video on BuffaloBills.com where they talk about this.

Sorry to see him take that hit. Was thankful he could walk to the locker room. Josh seemed genuinely upset because of the over thrown ball.

hope he makes it back for the playoffs..

I know this board usually has the info first.

Can we sacrifice a chicken or something to undo that?

Ray Davis took that hit and it sparked the team to a blowout.

Hate to see him suffer that injury, but the personal fuel played a huge factor in us finally blowing the game open.

The definition of taking one for the team.

I’m thinking it’s the guy on defense who lead with his head, on an obviously over thrown pass…,

Not just running backs, any skill position players.

The only player with a turnover on the season is Allen.

Allen rarely sets his receivers up for big hits. He's exceptionally good at avoiding those.

That said, he was under pressure and lofted it up there to try to make a play, thus putting Davis in a precarious position. But then the Raven's defender committed a personal foul. He even raised his hand afterward like a basketball player indicating he committed the foul. It happens.

Broncos defender .......

Not trying to play doctor here but from a fans point of view... that was not an average concussion where the guy is dazed and trots off the field into the blue tent... they were literally helping him into the locker room and he wasnt under his own power... seemed like a pretty severe head injury to me.  I would be shocked if he cleared concussion protocol for this game. But I guess we are going to find out.

Yeah, that one was for real.

Not only did he take the initial shot to the head that KO'd him but then he also hit his head on the turf on the rebound and going the other direction.

Not good

As good as Ty Johnson has been, I sort of hope Davis sits this one out and takes the extra week to play it safe.

Say What?  Did you actually watch McDermott's interview?

You didn't, but you're all rev'd up to yap about it anyway amiright?

1. McDermott talked about Davis as part of the injury update he led off with.  He said he's in concussion protocol.  That's all he's allowed to say.

2. McDermott was asked about the fake punt.  50 seconds into the interview.  Here you go.
