So we'll have 1, 2, 2, 4, 4, 5, 5, 6, 6, 6.  They can add a ton to this team with even just the first 5 picks here.  Special teams players might be on the table with that many picks.

1 - Our own

2 - Our own and the Vikings pick 56.

3 - No pick

4 - Our own pick, and the Bears pick that we got for moving a surplus pick in 2024

5 - No pick - 2 projected comp picks for net loss of davis and floyd. https://overthecap.com/compensatory-formula

6 - Our own pick, the 7/6 swap with the giants for boogie basham (probably like a jump from pick 250 to pick 180 actually so ), and a 6th from either the lions or the browns.

7 - No pick - swap with giants 6th

Last season they sold a 5th for an extra 4th, i could see that being on the table again because 10 people is just a lot to add after free agency.  WR, DE, DT, CB, S are needs.  There are some cap crunch moves incoming like milano, miller, oliver, and knox on the table - contracts coming up for benford, bernard, cook, rousseau, and shakir.  It's a pretty important draft to nail a few players that contribute on their rookie deals.  I'd like to see a really talented defensive tackle, as i think it would make an immediate impact.  Same with a good young corner.

I know there were some other factors in there but basically:

Pick 56

For

Diggs & the dead cap hit not to have him.

I'm satisfied with that at the moment. We will see how it's spent for the final result.

It's a win regardless

Why would the Bills cheer for the Rams?

I believe the answer is inside the link. Maybe I misread it

Beane knew that Darnold was a bum.

Darnold last night was brutal at holding the ball in the pocket and taking sacks.  Six of the nine sacks were above four seconds in the pocket.  It was stunning at how many negative plays he took and a lot of that was play calling.

Pick 90(ish) and Diggs

for

Pick 56 and Amari Cooper(plus the addition by subtraction of Diggs)

The way I look at it, Beane got good value for trading Diggs and the contract he had, that one transaction stands alone form e and was the right/good move.

Or another way to look at it, we traded Diggs for Cooper (virtually no additional cap hit on top of Diggs' dead cap #) and got a pick swap up to 56 from 90+

pretty dang good outcome

I sure did.  Would have bet money on it.

Of course we did especially when their prized rookie QB went down with a season ending injury. Kudos to Darnold for filling in and their defense being good with Danielle Hunter.

Well I just tried to copy and paste.....wouldn't let me. Pretty underwhelming list though. Hopefully it works out for us.

Shh.  Don't let prospective trade partners (for a trade up) see.

That was actually my thought.  How much of it was Darnold hesitating and not knowing where to go with the ball?

And how much of it was an offense succeeding off screen plays and the deep ball (neither of which were working last night)?

From the TV broadcast I find it hard to tell

So does this add another pick to what the Bills already had or just upgrade one to a higher pick ?

I am not into the whole draft thing but it's an upgrade from a previous acquired pick

Please fix your headline otherwise delete it. This is click bait.

Yeah I was thinking we got some comp pick for some odd reason. It's the order based off the Diggs trade to Houston.
