GunnerBill Posted January 14 Posted January 14 What a bizarre headline. They didn't "earn" anything and the draft pick is not "new." Bills find out fate of additional second round pick might have been a better headline. 4 2 3 4 2 3 1 Quote

2003Contenders Posted January 14 Posted January 14 I remember when the Diggs trade was announced and we saw that the pick was for the pick that Houston acquired from Minnesota rather than Houston's own 2nd rounder I was happy, as I figured (based on what happened in 2023) that the original Vikings' pick could be in the top 10, whereas Houston's would possibly be in the 28-32 range. As the season wore on, it became obvious that the Vikings were much better than we thought, while Houston was lucky to be in arguably the worst division in the NFL. Maybe the Bills would have been better off with Houston's own original 2nd rounder? Ironically enough, Houston is still alive and well in the playoffs -- and with the Vikings one-and-done (thanks, Sam Darnold!) Beane made the right choice! 1 1 Quote

I can only imagine this board... 🤣 Quote

I'm satisfied with that at the moment. We will see how it's spent for the final result. 1 2 1 Quote

Doc Posted January 14 Posted January 14 Was hoping to see that version of Darnold at the start of the season... 2 Quote
YattaOkasan Posted January 14 Posted January 14 Best case scenario given how their season went. Crazy to go from playing for 1 seed to out of hte playoffs in 8 days 1 1 Quote
Matt_In_NH Posted January 14 Posted January 14 I thought this pick would be way higher than it turned out to but them losing in the WC round was the best case scenario. The Rams are a good team. 1 Quote
HOUSE Posted January 14 Author Posted January 14 Brandon Beane could trade the pick for value merchandise and rewards Quote
