Trust me, I would love it if he got shut out this year...I just don't think it's going to happen.

He might be willing to take a job without a QB with the promise they are taking one in this draft.

I increasingly do think it is going to happen. I don't see Jones hiring him (not a big enough name) and McCarthy is now a realistic possibility in Chicago and New Orleans which potentially closes off another spot.

Jacksonville is the wildcard. I have no idea what they are going to do and, likely, nor do they.

I don't understand why more teams don't take advantage of the fact that there is no salary cap for coaching staff. Why not build a superteam of coaching geniuses and pay them all ridiculous coin?

If we don’t make it to the Super Bowl I’d want McDermott fired. Enough wafting Josh’s prime. How many chances do you need? I’d hire Brady as HC and bring in a veteran DC with HC experience to help. Obviously my first priority is win the Super Bowl this year. Bus this is it. Josh isn’t getting younger

If they have a bad game this playoffs, my bet it’ll be the defense not the offense.

We’ll see what happens, but if you look at it, the offense had more to do with the losses than the D did this year.  They laid absolute eggs in Baltimore and Houston.  LA was on the Defense, can’t argue that.

Hopefully, there are no bad games, a SB win happens and if he leaves, it’s too bad, but at least he leaves a Champion.

One bad game in these playoffs and most everyone will be ready to tar and feather him

Correct. I imagine its much like if you looked at Vikes message board about Darnold LITERALLY 8 days ago, versus today LOL. i havent looked, but i dont need to to know whats there

Disagree. He is much better than Daboll.

Yep, Dabol was creative and was great at teaching Josh how to view the game as a qb, but where he and Brady differ most is Brady's dedication to the run game. Brady had 100% faith in our RB's and blocking. He's is sync with Kroemer too. I didn't expect this at all,  but Brady was a great hire.

The good news is that the teams with openings this year are crappy situations. Hopefully Brady has learned how important the organization from top down is important to his success as a HC.

He was an OC in Carolina before he was here. He has seen what having no QB and a bad owner does to a HCs job security.

Hoping hes been watching his peer in Ben Johnson.  Also, if we lose and somehow McD is out, we should offer that guy the keys to Buff lol

Usually putting that many egos in the same room is counterproductive, in my experience anyways.

I honestly think he stays... the only way I see him leaving is if we win it all and he decides the offer and the situation are too good to pass up... I have nothing other than a gut feeling here... and maybe I am just whistling by the graveyard... I dont know...

He has been successful with the greatest offensive talent in college football history at LSU and a Bills team with one of its best offensive lines in history, a Pro Bowl RB and a Hall of Fame QB. He failed in Carolina with a low talent level. His route structures are very basic and Josh has created an absolutely insane amount of off schedule plays this year it’s hard to even know what it looks like without him. I prefer to retain him for continuity and I love how he has gotten Josh away from the three point offense Dorsey had. But I don’t see some mastermind, and in my opinion, if he leaves he will have a very similar fate as Daboll.

Garbage take, seriously. Rhule firing him was the biggest scapegoat job ive ever seen.  Dude took Teddy B and pumped out just under three 1k receiversSamuel, DJ Moore and had Robbie freaking Anderson looked like Jon Brown in his prime there.... all while CMC was out.  That was a very fun offensive team to watch!!!!  2 of those 3 WR's have not matched that output since then

Im not here to say hes Sean McVay, but dude thrived everywhere hes been.  Might not be a good HC, we'll see but super short  sighted to write him off

I do believe teams will be lining up if he was available for OC, but as HC with limited experience as OC I'm not sure if teams want to start a rebuild with a real green HC candidate.

I also believe Brady would stay here to get one more solid season as OC then he'll jump ship IMO.

Observing the Buffalo Bills offense this year has been awesome from not only a stats standpoint, but from the eye test as well.

Our offense has been so efficient and I can think of very few plays that I thought were boneheaded calls this season. Only one off the top of my head is the trick play against the Ravens that got Josh throttled.

I think we can all agree that our most important player, Josh, has looked awesome this year. Yeah his stats are a little down, but we are winning with a more balanced approach instead of asking Josh to make magic happen every single game.

What I wonder is if we were to offer Brady a $6 million a year to be our OC and secure him in Buffalo. He’d be making a salary equivalent of the 12th highest paid HC in the NFL. I think he is absolutely perfect for Josh and this is the offense we’ve needed here for so long that has balance and effectiveness.

I realize he may want to be a HC and see if that works out for him. But curious why big deals aren’t offered to coordinators more often.

What does that do to the culture on the coaching staff?

Also, after one year of making 6 mil, what is his motivator for year two?

This is where I am at... but who knows... if this is his ultimate dream he may jump...  and maybe its my personal view of the world I always preach that when you find yourself in a great situation, that has value... it is not the all being, but you have to consider that... so if you are gonna jump into the frying pan with a career risking move then you have to weigh that... so, I certainly wouldnt jump to the Jets or the Browns... Jacksonville comes calling and he thinks he can revive Lawrence, well maybe...  anyways... thats me and how I view things... he may be like screw it... here is my shot... I just dont think he does...

Ideally... we could offer him the Assistant Head Coach so he could get more experience and help the team a couple of more years, at least one more year.

That is a win win situation.

Brady waits one more year he gets the Bengals job.

don't want him on the Bengals.  But if we win 2 SBs before then, okay.

very unlikely we keep him.

he’s the favorite to land a few jobs in the betting market.

Joe has been great. Wish him the best in whatever he decides.

Having an alien as your franchise QB doesn't hurt, but you can't undermine what Brady has done with the offensive talent he has to work with in comparison with other so called "elite" rosters.

He must be retained at all costs imho.

He had a bottom rated offense in the league

24th and 21st in points and yards in 2020

29th and 30th in 2021 (when he was scapegoated 🤣

So I know "pumped out 1k WR's" sounds sexy and all. But his performance wasn't.

Thats gunna be a no from me dogg.  Aaron Kromer needs that job, and he needs it ASAP.  IMO he's the single most important coach on the staff to retain, and thats not hyperbole.  Get him a raise while were at it...... oh and his daughter Brooke (cute as heck, huge fan of her dad and the Bills) is a sports reporter, get her on PR or writing staff ASAP too.  At least extra access to Beane, Coach, Players, whatever.
