Assistants make $3mil or so.  Head coaches make 6-8 mil I think.   I suspect the money might matter to some but not all coordinators.  He who wants to run his own show will go.  Security minded will stay for something short of the total difference for family stability.  In either case, its a good l iving but an all consuming job.

Brady makes 1.8 million, he's the 8th highest paid coordinator.  The highest is 3.0 million, Ravens and Giants.

Funny,  both Dorsey and Hackett make over $2 million.

Just curious where you can see coaches salaries?

Well it looks like Brady may NOT be getting a HC job after all...

Projected hires:

Cowboys - Kellen Moore

Raiders - Todd Monken

Jaguars - Liam Coen

Saints - Mike McCarthy

Jets - Aaron Glenn

Lions losing last week helps keep Brady as teams don't want to wait to hire someone.  If the Bills win Sunday, Brady is almost assured to stay.

On a related subject what happened this year compared to others for all the love for Spags?   He was always the hot hire name prior, this year nothing.   Did he maybe announce he didn't want a HC job and I missed that?

He's 65 years old and was a disaster as a head coach

Some people don't have the skill set needed for being a HC which is much more like a CEO. Lot's of non-football related management stuff. Less importance on X's and O's. It's why so many don't make it as a HC. 2 completely different skill sets.

I think if the Bills can make it to the Super bowl that the out come of that game will have a lot to do with what decision Brady makes . I think if the Bills win there will be a better chance that he could take a HC ing position because he can then ask for more money , but if they don't win i think he may feel that he wants to prove he can win it all .

Plus seeing what he has done with Josh and this offense in his first full season as the Bills OC then you give him some input on a draft along with FA with Beane and company with what he already has O M G i can't imagine what this offense could look like given that set of circumstances .

I know this season isn't any where near being over yet and i'm not one that like others am already looking toward the draft and all that will come next year but the possibilities are endless and if I'm going to dream dreaming of what this team could acquire in the draft and FA there is no reason why the Bills couldn't be the team looking at multiple SB wins in their future .

Just Sayin ... GO BILLS !!!!

Joe Brady to Jacksonville is my guess. Hope we can keep him but we will see.

I am living near Tampa... not that it means anything but they are convinced Liam Coen is gone to Jville.

Jags want Brady I think. They won’t be able to interview him until Monday at the earliest.

He could use them as leverage to get a better deal just like Coen.

Nope

If the Jags are looking for a young offensive mind to help resurrect Lawrence, then I can see Brady being in a short list. After all the talk of Allen being a turnover machine this time last year, look at him now. Brady has done well to help limit opportunity for Josh to turn the ball over while still having an offense that scores points.

And if I'm Brady, I seriously consider this job as long as I feel like Lawrence is coachable. They have weapons in the passing game. They have ETN that's has they same capabilities as a James Cook. An amazing rookie WR.

The only real thing I'm nervous about is I'm Brady is Baalke as my GM, however there were reports that Khan may be ok with firing him if the right GM/coach combo became available. Could this be a spot for Terrence Grey to join Brady?

So sure we lose Brady which sucks,  but we would get 2 3rds for Grey which would soften the blow.

I could also see the Jags going Kellen Moore for the same reasons as they would go Brady.

They already have. Next step would likely be an in person meeting where pen would likely meet paper. And yes, it would only happen when the Bills season ends.

Eric Bieniemy be like, da**, Liam Coen...really?

Why? Dude made Baker Mayfield into a top QB this year with over 40 TD passes. He should get a ton of credit.

Dammit!!  Bills better follow suit with Brady, that puts him on a short list for that job now. Lawrence is a coach killer...first Meyer, now Pederson. And he is hurt a TON.

To be fair, Meyer killed his own career in Jacksonville. He was a Marrone level jackass that went didn't even know the names of some of the superstar players he was coaching against, went out club ing after a loss and would kick his players. He lost that team quickly

Wow breaking news! Well then I agree... I always thought Brady was a prime candidate to rehab Lawrence... but the talk here was Coen who "rehabbed" Mayfield in a way... I guess all bets are off...

I really, really hope the Bills offer Brady a bag to stick around, and that Brady is smart enough to avoid Jacksonville.

But as soon as I saw Coen shun the Jags, I immediately thought "this is not good news for the Bills".

One to keep an eye on...
