I’m shocked at how many play callers don’t seem to understand the fundamental parameters of outscoring your opponent *within 60 minutes*.

For guys who played and/or coached most of their lives, it's really amazing the number of them who are so obtuse and neither have any situational awareness nor understanding of analytics.

Sam Darnold lost some serious generational wealth over last eight days.

He's reminding me of Frank Reich's last season with the Bills. Kelly got hurt late in the season, Reich played the final games and not staying on the bench cost him millions.

Their play calling is as if they’re up 18 points.

Got to say, if I were a Vikes fan and this is what they’re putting out there I’d be more upset with that than getting blown out 18 points.

You think he goes to the giants next year? Never thought of that, but I can see that as a bridge QB as they most likely draft one at pick 4

If teams decide Sanders is worth a top pick, then Ward and Sanders would probably go #1 and #2. That leaves the Giants free agent hunting.

This is actually making me angry.  I’d fire O’Connell over this game if I was a GM and I’m not particularly reactionary.

His body language has been awful. Instead of pouting when something is going wrong you need to fire people up

O’Connell has really been exposed the last two weeks…some really poor coaching…

When your QB turns back into a pumpkin, there's nothing a coach can do other than play the game out and prepare for next season.

True. I think sanders will be there for them though if they want him

Heard from Tom Pelisaro on the rich eisen show that a lot of teams are staying away from him

Not sure I have ever seen a team quit in a playoff game as a strategy by their coach with 8+ minutes left.

This has been a disgraceful performance all around by the Vikings. Everyone gets an F in this game for them.

O’Connell hasn’t helped.  He’s made some bizarre decisions
