i just looked up the 93 giants.  I thought they lost the next week in SF but they actually beat the vikings in the wild card then lost 44-3 to the niners.

I wonder if this changes the Vikings thought process of whether to not go with J.J. McCarthy next year. I mean this season buys O'Connell a lot more time as a Head Coach. It'd be hard to do since you won 14 games with Darnold this year so it makes it an incredibly tough decision.

It means trading McCarthy is off the table.  Period.

I admittedly don't follow college football and only watch YouTube clips

I could see how his act might wear thin with players especially if they aren't winning

Coach Prime really turned around the Colorado program, so it’s tough for me to say he can’t coach. I don’t know if he’d be successful in the NFL, but I wouldn’t assume he fails. I think the assumption he’d fail is based on dislike of him. I think he’s a phony, but that doesn’t mean he can’t coach football. A lot of football coaches aren’t great guys.

When Matthew Stafford is on he's on. When he is off he's off. He's on today

always been one of those guys that’s gifted above and beyond what he’s given credit for.

he can be a lot of fun to watch when he’s in rhythm.

Vikings offensive line did not show up tonight.

Darnold is making routine throws look extremely difficult.

And now he just threw a 2 point conversion pass outside of the endzone

He was buried on some bad Detroit teams. He never fully got the credit he deserved, IMO. He's a baller.

Former Bill Case Keenum.

Yes, and the best part of the story is that Denver, having just given Keenum a big contract, didn’t want to waste a high draft pick on a raw QB prospect from the Univ of Wyoming…😃

super gritty and not sure there’s anyone that throws more “handoffs” 30 yards down field. Just plants them in guys chests.
