Aikman putting that 3rd down miss on Darnold. I am not so sure it was all on him. Looked like he wanted the WR to settle in the zone and he kept running. Miscommunication there but it’s easy to pile on Darnold

Darnold is perfect for what he is, a QB that competes with some team's rookie QB in training camp and either loses the competition or acts as the bridge. Anyone who thought he had proven himself as a true starter in this league was badly misguided.

I’d be hesitant, but in comparison to Darnold, I’d take that chance. Darnold is never taking a team far, and you never know what you’ve got with a rookie. I like the risk of the unknown over a known average quarterback. Shadeur can run, Darnold has been taking sacks all night long.

Any team that gives Darnold big $ is totally mismanaged. He's back to the Same Old Sam the Jets gave up on.

Looks like that devastation by the Lions derailed the Vikes season and left their psyche in tatters. They are a shell of the team that headed into that division decider against Detroit.
