In 1991, Buffalo was undefeated at 5-0 until they ran into a buzz saw in Kansas City, getting blown out 33-6 in prime time…

Later that season, the Chiefs then traveled to Buffalo, for a rematch, in the divisional round of the playoffs, where the Bills got their revenge 38-14…

Likewise, the 2024 Bills were undefeated, at 3-0, until they ran into a buzz saw in Baltimore, getting blown out 35-10 in prime time…

And now the Ravens are traveling to Buffalo, for a rematch in the divisional round of the playoffs…

Will history repeat itself, with Buffalo, once again, getting their revenge at home? I’d like to think so…👍

I think it is a pretty good comparison.  The Chiefs humiliated the Bills on Monday night.  The Bills, and their great offense, looked dead in the water from the outset.  Then the Bills beat them up when it mattered most.

It seems that if a team beats the Bills the Bills almost always then beat them if they play them again that season or next. Too lazy to do look it up myself,  was wondering if that is accurate and how consistent they have been at doing this under McDermott?

Marv seemed to be very good at beating teams that had previously beaten the Bills, like the playoff game you mention. I have been thinking of this the last few months, mainly related to the Ravens: how good are the Bills at beating teams in this situation?

I said that exact thing when the Baltimore game happened.

We have a lot of important guys playing Sunday who didn’t in week 4.  Plus we’re at home.  Plus this is around the time when Jackson gags.  We have a good shot.

Big difference... Vlasic played most of the game instead of DeBerg, which would be like Josh Johnson playing QB for them. I thought of that, but I couldn't make it fit in my mind unless Lamar went out early.

bills were missing players in ravens game. It came down to a few plays

1. long TD run due to blown assignments.

2. failure to stop twice on 3rd and 10+

3. not doing the trick play

The game easily could have bern a tied or 3-4 pt game entering the 4th.

Christian Okoye.  Nigerian Nightmare.  I hated that guy.  He was unstoppable.  Kinda like King Henry.

We rostered a kickoff specialist?

Yep. Brad Daluiso Norwood couldn’t kickoff deep enough. I think the NFL changed the specs on what tee was permitted or something

This is going to be a big difference.

Milano is getting back in stride.   Both Douglas and Rapp are back.

Our home crowd (all those folks who saved the money for this game instead of the WC) will be awesome....plus we are on Prime Time....Nantz, Romo and Wolfson...
