Decent .608 win percentage will get him looks for sure. Shady by Jerry to not just let him out of his contract to be interviewed if he wasn’t going onto bring him back. Maybe McCarthy didn’t want to sign. Quote

How long ago was 2023 and 2021? Number 1 scoring offenses. I know Josh Allen is no Dak Prescott but I think he could do OK in Buffalo. We know he won’t leave for a HC job. Quote

TheFunPolice Posted yesterday at 06:15 PM Posted yesterday at 06:15 PM Jerry Jones dragging this out gave all the leverage to big Mike. Even if McCarthy wanted to go back and Dallas wanted him, waiting for the contract to expire gives him all the leverage because he would have options. Quote

Buffalo_Stampede Posted yesterday at 06:19 PM Posted yesterday at 06:19 PM Interesting. Move on from McCarthy after watching the Bills game? Joe Brady the betting favorite after the big name Deion Sanders. 1 Quote

I think he's a good leader of men and generally decent at managing a game, but he definitely has McDermott/old Andy Reid-esque brain farts in tight late game situations that I think he'd manage better if he focused on just managing the game instead of doing that and trying to coordinate the offense as well. Buffalo_Stampede Posted yesterday at 06:25 PM Posted yesterday at 06:25 PM (edited) People that don’t want him as OC need to explain it better to me. Why couldn’t he be our Steve Spagnuolo on offense? All I see are successful offenses everywhere he goes. Edited yesterday at 06:26 PM by Buffalo_Stampede Quote

They did have a good offense last year but it is so basic and outdated I think you need a super elite weapon like CeeDee to make it effective. I get people are looking for someone who won't be poached but I think that is the wrong way to be. I say it all the time when I recruit. I'd rather get the right person and only have them 18 months because they are bright, creative, innovative and in demand rather than take a steddie eddie who will do okay and stay 5 years because they have no market. If Joe Brady leaves go find another bright, creative, offensive mind. Don't hire a dinosaur. 3 2 Quote

They denied requests for him to be allowed to interview other places . They had an exclusive window and Jones in an interview said that he could seek other opportunities then denied said requests. Then they let him go. They screwed him and now he’s way behind in the interview process in comparison to others Quote

Not all offenses have to be innovative. Execution matters. Peyton Manning hated motion. Edited yesterday at 06:50 PM by Buffalo_Stampede 1 Quote
