Decent .608 win percentage will get him looks for sure. Shady by Jerry to not just let him out of his contract to be interviewed if he wasn’t going onto bring him back. TheFunPolice Posted January 13 Posted January 13 Jerry Jones dragging this out gave all the leverage to big Mike. Even if McCarthy wanted to go back and Dallas wanted him, waiting for the contract to expire gives him all the leverage because he would have options. Quote

Expand I think he'd be a better HC if let a younger offensive mind call the plays and dictate the flow of the game. I think he's a good leader of men and generally decent at managing a game, but he definitely has McDermott/old Andy Reid-esque brain farts in tight late game situations that I think he'd manage better if he focused on just managing the game instead of doing that and trying to coordinate the offense as well. Buffalo_Stampede Posted January 13 Posted January 13 (edited) People that don’t want him as OC need to explain it better to me. Why couldn’t he be our Steve Spagnuolo on offense? All I see are successful offenses everywhere he goes. Edited January 13 by Buffalo_Stampede 1 Quote

I get people are looking for someone who won't be poached but I think that is the wrong way to be. I say it all the time when I recruit.
