Yes, I am quite sure the Bills will win.

Just remember where you heard it

I might even lay a bet on this one

Note, Lamar is only 215 lbs. If they keep using him on designed running plays he will go down.

I hope he doesn't...one because I never would hope for an injury, but also I don't want to hear about how we only won because Lamar got hurt given they steam rolled last time.  You want to win the SB, you gotta be the best team in your conference first...so Bills need to go be that and lets send the Ravens fishing.

That being said, this is the matchup that makes me the most nervous because the Ravens are legit dangerous offensively and defensively.  In fact, IMHO beat the Ravens and the Bills are winning the SB.  I am very confident Bills handle either KC or Hou after and the only team I had concerns about were the Lions and the Bills already beat them impressively in their own stadium.

I have optimism but not overconfidence going into the Ravens game. Watching their game against Pittsburgh they looked good but also beatable. Their defense is not the Ray Lewis and Ed Reed version. We're going to have to commit to stopping their run game with a platoon of bodies who had better know how to tackle. We're going to expose ourselves to seeing if Lamar can beat us with the pass. Getting him into 3rd and long is key.

On offense I'd like to see us in long time consuming drives. It won't be a cakewalk but we'll prevail

You would think so, but he's incredible at not taking hits.  Nothing like Josh's physical running style.

I might be in the minority here, but i think we win handily over the Ravens.........like, i'm talking an old fashioned, out behind the woodpile spanking.

There is no team in the league that we can't beat.

I truly believe that and i think the team believes the same thing.

Sweats, my good fellow, YE OLE is right there with you. This seemed on its face a matchup we all felt a little uneasy about given the week 4 result, especially.

But, that week 4 game landed in what seemed to be a 3-4 week slump that they seemingly go through every once in a while in the regular season before they go back on a heater heading into the playoffs. You also have to take into account that they were missing Milano, Bernard, Johnson, Rapp, Von that game. On offense Shakir was hurt early in that game and Cooper wasn’t here yet.

Practically speaking, that’s a huge difference in personnel, but also take into account this game will flip the script and be in Orchard Park under the lights, the All Pro snubs, likely MVP snub, and the talking heads pumping Baltimores tires endlessly. This feels like a spot where the Ravens are going to run into a buzzsaw.

I hate that we have to wait so long for the game, but I feel the same way. I could not care any less about the MVP award and frankly, I think it helps motivate the Bills that the narrative is Lamar has the MVP wrapped up. People keep sleeping on this Bills team, we should just let them and handle business. It's the NFL, perfection is impossible, so what if we lost a few games to some tough opponents? That's reality. You really expect me to believe that a team who clinched their division basically on Thanksgiving, has the #2 seed in the AFC, truly doesn't have ANY 1st Team All-Pro's? Hell all you have to do is look at Josh's post-season record compared to Lamar.

Frankly, I hope the media and the Ravens keep disrespecting us. And I hope we get revenge from earlier in the year. 😈

Baltimore is a bit overhyped and overrated if you ask me

They haven't beaten anyone of note lately sans a Texans team that had been uninspiring up until Saturday

Their defense has been the main driver of their wins and has made things easy for Lamar and Henry, but again...they have beaten on Pit twice, NYG, and CLE. These are all inept teams on at least one side if not both sides of the ball.

I'm not sure how they're gonna fare against a team that's going to put up points and put pressure on Jackson to make some big throws...let alone on the road in tough weather conditions. I know the narrative is that Lamar has taken the leap he has needed to as a passer, but alot of what I've seen is guys being more open than maybe any other team in the league. I'm not convinced that he can dissect a defense and outduel top teams...especially given his previous playoff woes where he struggled mightily as a passer.

Slow Henry and keep the pressure on Lamar by putting points up and chewing up clock on their defense and I think we see a very different version of LJ

I agree mostly but I think they put an emphasis on the option run/hand-off last week anticipating that teams will do what you describe and I’m not sure there’s a way to really defend it.

Pick a player and hit him….whoops he doesn’t have the ball, Lamar does. They really don’t have to pass at all.

Idk if it’s a me thing but every time I see Lamar he’s taking a ton of hits much like this past week lol idk if things have changed the last year or two but he was the most hit qb by a landslide for most of his career.  Obviously he’s super elusive and avoids a bunch but he’s not really keen on sliding or running out of bounds either so on any given play someone is hitting him and it’s pretty likely from an odd angle.  his volume of carries is so high too he’s got hundreds more carries than Josh in his career

obviously it’s terrible for the league if either of these guys get injured I’m just saying I don’t think one guy is more likely for it to happen than the other lol

Game will be a fight, but all of them seem to have been a fight.  This is just one more.

Just play hard and well on that one day and you can come out on top.

Something just tells me that, even though McBeanes have built this thing to have a look at the title every year , this looks like a year where they can win out in this silly year-end tournament.

I feel like we are seeing a perfect storm of the Bills holding a major mental edge coming into the game.  Much like the anger-fuel the Bengals lather themselves up with the beat the much-more-loved Bills all the time.  The Bills will be boring publicly to the media, but I would bet, in that building, they have never been as motivated to win a game.  I think the crowd is going to feel it too and everyone is going to feed off each other.

There was that 35-10 embarrassment early in the year.  You have a ton of pro bowlers from Baltimore, not many on the Bills.  AP the same way.  Allen got snubbed for the All Pro 1st team and is about to be snubbed for MVP.  The players will rally to Allen's cause.  The entirety of the media is fawning over the Ravens and 95% of picks I see are for the Ravens to win the Superbowl (forget the Bills game, we are past that already).  Also, listening to Lamar's post game comments Saturday, it sure looks like he isn't very humble and liking the smell of his own farts.

I'm not a homer, I was pretty white knuckle all week about the Broncos and their head coach and defense.  I have a good feeling about this game.  Like punch them in the nose and shock the football world kind of thing.

And Ill also say, the Bills win this game, they are going to hoist the Lombardi

Tis always be better to be underestimated.  $ movement is based on false perception, based on when bettors saw, long ago, in prime time beat down.  To be doubted powerful motivation.  And to be insulted (MVP, All Pro), it’s war.  Vegas is severely underestimating Josh Allen.  These Bills have the heart of a champion.  I fear not Baltimore, nor KC.  The Big Bad Bills mean business, we’re coming for our Lombardi trophy, and bringing home to Buffalo!

I have a better feeling on this one than I expected mainly because I enjoy the underdog and always acknowledge the power being disrespected has on athletes. I think by the time this one plays the level of disrespect towards the Bills will be at a point in which it will motivate them. People like to say, it's the playoffs, they don't need motivation. Well, sorry, that's just not how this works. People can really want something, but that want can be taken to another level. A level you would likely be hard pressed to arrive at on your own. I think that is what we have brewing here (I hope).

If I'm McDermott, I have the highlights from the Ravens game from week 4 playing on a loop this week inside the building. Then splice in all the Lamar is MVP chatter. The snippet yesterday when Burleson picked the Broncos. Get the fellas good and ticked off.

I agree... also 9 pro bowlers to 1.  If that doesn't scream bulletin board material, nothing does. These guys have to come out completely disrespected and play with a pride never seen before.

The Bills are better and healthier now than in week 4, plus they know what is coming and will prepare better for it with a stronger defensive roster than was available week 4.

Plus....  Josh will simply light them up.

Don't know if it's been said, but if the Texans beat KC, this team and 12th man will be on fire. I like Hunter, Anderson and that secondary against KC.

TJ is injured, and truthfully I don’t think they have a formula for Lamar. It’s always been sheer luck in an 5 pass drop type game  and hoping he’s not playing aka last game of the season. Their defense is legit but TJ is kinda the engine to that whole team, and crazy to think he’s never won a playoff game.

The Steelers have zero threat offensively outside of a moon ball down the sideline but that’s it, kinda easy to game plan offensively when you know you’re going to get many snaps.

Watt was hurt and the Steelers knew they were toast bc of it.  They didn’t believe.

We’re home and healthy.  I like our chances.

This game is the biggest challenge the Bills have seen in years. If they can take down the Ravens, I'm not afraid of any other team going forward.

We are the biggest challenge they have seen in years.    100% healthy (vs week 4, when back end was decimated, Shakir and Cooper not on the field), Josh in full flight, on the road in OP.

The Ravens are in a world of hurt this week..

Exactly!   The Bills are the toughest game any team has on their schedule.  Not that we will beat anyone…but we CAN beat anyone.

The X factor in this game is the personal motivation each player has to prove the AP voters all wrong.  It’s absolutely absurd the amount of recognition the players on a 13win #2 seed have gotten.  To watch or listen to any of the pundits… the Bills have zero NFL caliber players other than Josh… and Josh even is 2nd string, riding the bench behind Lamar.

It’ll be interesting to see how they come out of the gates for this one.   This is NOT the game I would expect a slow start.
