Josh Allen will shortly be snubbed in MVP voting for Lamar Jackson, the fans know it and so do the Buffalo Bills players. It's another voters rip off which Buffalo fans have become accustomed to. The voting sucks, 1 All Pro player ?? This will be a team playing for Josh Allen and the city of Buffalo. AMAZING THINGS WILL HAPPEN. Now, go clean your room, it smells up there. Bills 34 Ravens 27 Once upon a Buffalo winter's dreary, while I pondered the week so clearly, Over many a quaint and curious volume of talking head lore— While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping, As of some foe who came rapping, rapping at the stadium door. “’Tis some visitor,” I muttered, “tapping at the stadium door— Lamar and Derrick from Baltimore.” Ah, distinctly I remember it was in the bleak January; And each separate vanquished adversary wrought its ghost upon the stadium floor. Eagerly I wished the morrow;—anxiously awaiting the game to follow From Joe Brady's playbook of sorrow—sorrow for the team from Baltimore— For the team whom the pundits cheer "Baltimore!"— Winless here for evermore. 5 6 1 Quote
Sweats Posted yesterday at 04:37 PM Posted yesterday at 04:37 PM I might be in the minority here, but i think we win handily over the Ravens.........like, i'm talking an old fashioned, out behind the woodpile spanking. There is no team in the league that we can't beat. I truly believe that and i think the team believes the same thing. 2 5 2 3 Quote
Virgil Posted yesterday at 04:39 PM Posted yesterday at 04:39 PM As someone who lives here in Baltimore, I sure hope so. All I wear is Bills clothing and it's going to be miserable for me two-fold if we lose. Also, I would like someone to root for in the AFC. I don't want a Ravens or Chiefs Super Bowl party 4 Quote
HOUSE Posted yesterday at 04:41 PM Author Posted yesterday at 04:41 PM Yes, I am quite sure the Bills will win. Just remember where you heard it I might even lay a bet on this one Note, Lamar is only 215 lbs. If they keep using him on designed running plays he will go down. 4 1 Quote

It seemed like Josh was a little off and everything was difficult at times. Nothing really came easy until the 4th quarter. Everything came extremely easy for the Ravens. So, just how bad are the Steelers? I think they’re pretty bad and not nearly as strong defensively as years past. I give the Ravens a slight edge. I think we need an early lead and a meaningful turnover to win this game. I felt the same way and still do. We definitely didnt capitalize on several trips to the Red Zone that we will have to score TD's, not FG in order to beat the Ravens. There were times that Josh held the ball way too long and he will have to beat them with his legs when our receivers dont get open. Raven have an even better defense and the only way to make Lamar a passer only is to get a good enough lead where Henry becomes a non factor and Lamar has to be a passer. If we play that cushion defense, they will take the chunks that we give them and pound the ball into the EZ with Henry. 1 Quote

Should of been last year and 2021, but this year is the first year that I can say it should be Lamar. The sports world, most importantly the NFL has become so race obsessed and it is really sad. Race has everything to do with Josh not getting the MVP over the past several years. Both of these QB's were supposed to be failures and Lamar was supposed to be a bust just like Josh was and many of the people that vote (Media) are ashamed of the fact that they classified him as not a prototypical QB, but they hold on to anything they possibly can regarding why Josh doesn't deserve any of the accolades that he is rightly due. They may praise him for certain games and certain records, but they have to continue to follow a narrative that there is someone else more deserving. They really want their Michael Jordan and it gets really boring to them to just hype Mahomes, so now we have Lamar and next year we will have Daniels, or someone else. I believe that Josh's 5 games where he was less that 200 yards did hurt his MVP chances. He has had some real stinkers regarding stats this year. He is usually good for at least 3 games where he's in the mid 100s for passing yards, but this year i believe he has had 5, with one of those against the Ravens. Who is more valuable to their team this year. Lamar to Baltimore or Josh to Buffalo. I've seen too many times this season where without Josh we had no chance. Lamar is fantastic, but if MVP was all about stats then it needs to be renamed. 3 1 Quote

Livinginthepast Posted yesterday at 04:50 PM Posted yesterday at 04:50 PM McD definitely needs to have his Bill Belichick SB 25 coaching plan ready. Jackson or Henry would be enough of a threat on their own but they have to plan for both. If you go back to SB25 Belichick was able to neutralize our offense for most of the game until it was too late and that was with a mediocre talent of Hostetler for offensive support. McD has done great game plans before and this has to be his absolute best effort! 1 1 Quote

There’s a reason Lamar’s stats blew off the charts with one of the best RBs in the game. Take nothing away from him, he’s just as valuable to that team as our QB is. The difference becomes they could probably still hit a decent amount of wins. We, sadly, aren’t getting 6 or 7 without Josh I would think. 3 Quote
Willyville Guy Posted yesterday at 04:53 PM Posted yesterday at 04:53 PM I like Buffalo’s chances in a tough game. We have the dawgs to knock the snot out of those guys physically, and the Bills are playing a salty brand of ball right now. 2 1 Quote

It’s always been sheer luck in an 5 pass drop type game and hoping he’s not playing aka last game of the season. Their defense is legit but TJ is kinda the engine to that whole team, and crazy to think he’s never won a playoff game. The Steelers have zero threat offensively outside of a moon ball down the sideline but that’s it, kinda easy to game plan offensively when you know you’re going to get many snaps. Quote
gonzo1105 Posted yesterday at 05:01 PM Posted yesterday at 05:01 PM I do think this will be a close game and a lot of factors to help the Bills in this game. Getting blown out in Week 4 will still be in their minds, being at home this time, having a slew of defenders back who didn’t play, and the possibility that Jackson gets the MVP over Allen could really light a fire under this team. Will it be enough who knows but the Bills mentally should be in the right head space to want to prove a lot of people wrong 1 Quote
Sweats Posted yesterday at 05:04 PM Posted yesterday at 05:04 PM This isn't the same soft finesse Bills team from years past.......this team plays with grit and dominance and demands that teams have their best day against them to win. They impose their will on teams and that's the making of a SB champion. 4 Quote

The reason is two-fold. First, it is always difficult to beat a team twice in a season (which we ourselves will perhaps face vs. KC). But the deeper reason is just how lopsided that victory was, and that's the psychological advantage: The Ravens' 25-point win set the benchmark for their success vs. Buffalo. It is in their heads that they must again score over 3X as many points to down the Bills. This is exacerbated by how the Bills scored 31 unanswered vs. Denver. The Ravens would be far better off had they edged the Bills, say, 27-24. #GoBills! Awful take. That's the NFL's popularity contest to see who gets to play flag football. That wasn't my take. How did that post get credited to me? Quote
