The wife is prepping some thin cut and pounded out chicken breasts, marinated in a homemade cilantro lime based mix.  I'll be grilling them.

Another spicey sausage casserole for me. It was so good last week, and clearly brought us luck, so same again.

This time with a nice St. Chinian red.

Chicken schnitzel with scalloped potatoes and braised red cabbage washed down with a local finger lakes Chardonnay , and plenty of good beer for the game😁

Sounds delish.

Looked up the Chardonnay. That's a pricey one over here in the UK. Would cost me £43. Is it a good one then?

General concerns expressed in hushed tones by attendees here that my diet yesterday of bowls and bowls homemade French Onion Soup with the 6 lbs of onions I caramelized earlier in the week has made me a little toxic.

I caramelized them over 4 hours slowly for the Calf Liver and had too many.

Pushed them to the back of the fridge.

Yesterday morning I see I have 4 kinds of exotic cheeses in the fridge.

B-O-O-M!!!

4 bowls yesterday.

The chicken recipe I linked as cold leftovers is awesome sliced up on a salad with bleu cheese.  I just ate one cold after a celebratory shot of wild turkey 101.  I may have shared some with my good luck dogs.  They are my good luck arm rests on the couch.

Finger lakes region excel in there white wines, plenty of options from chardonnays to Gewürztraminer.

All for these fantastic eats hours before the game and postgame after the win, but if someone actually sat down and was able to enjoy a meal during this game I am so envious of you.

My stomach always takes first priority.
