Call a time out. No matter how dumb it is whenever it’s suggested, seriously teams need to consider consulting with Madden players some time. Or maybe just a common sense coach You can’t take the time outs with you… So many Clock Management buffoons as highly paid HCs in the NFL! As I’ve said several times everywhere, there are multiple factors involved in End of Half/ Game situations. To wit: Field position, Play calling and quickness, Time Outs taken or abstained instantaneously, your QB’s strengths, THEIR QB strengths. It’s not simple… at all! But in a Trillion Dollar Biz/ Game, you gotta get it ***** right at a 90% mental capacity. EVERY HCing vacancy (and existing jobs for that matter) need an intense, lightning round component on this with use of all the factors above mixed up. Like a Time Mgt. Wonderlic ! And your successful HC candidate better do very, very well. Otherwise,he should not be hired or somebody with that mental & mathematical acumen is right beside you on the sideline with a cattle prod to do the right thing. 1 1 Quote
