I really, really want Hollins back next season.

 

Dude is an absolutely perfect WR4.  Could not ask for a better fit for that role.  Blocking, trashtalking madman that scores TDs in the redzone and is a menace on special teams.

Yeah, he abused Surtain after the catch. Everyone is focused on him stepping over him or shoving him with his foot in the chest... the head shove at the beginning of the whole thing was probably enough to earn the flag on its own. Consider it a three-fer.

It's definitely considered disrespectful.

I don't think it's specifically listed in the rulebook so it's more of a spirit of the game thing.

In Buffalo we can’t have confidence. Our role is to put our head down, take what we’re given, get injured and go to the sideline, and instead he stepped over Surtain and shoved it in the Broncos face.

Mack Hollins is a treasure. I hated him in the #2 role where he looked like a deer in the headlights trying to catch deep passes from Josh against Houston. I love him in the WR4 role and on special teams. He smoked the consensus #1 CB in the AFC who’d been talking smack this week and gave him the big stomp. Love it. Sign him for a couple more years at 3 mil/per. He’s earned it and worth it. Fits Buffalo to a T.

Right it's quite literally proof of what I said, the guy pulls on his leg and Hollins kicks out to keep his balance and not fall on his face. But he did step over, the ***** horror.

Shocked this comment is getting so many downvotes. Hollins was definitely the one in the wrong, not for standing over a player (which we have seen called as taunting countless times, but for shoving the guy into the ground, then donkey kicking backwards after walking over him.

 

All of it was unnecessary, and in tight games vs the Ravens & Chiefs, you can't have plays like that called back & hurt yourself. Sorry, people might "like the attitude" now when it doesn't matter, but that kinda stuff does matter to championship teams.

Exactly, and we've seen it called many times before. But he also shoved the player & kicked backwards, which seems to have really set the ref off

But in this situation it was fine. Guy was yapping all week and got a bit of comeuppance. Didn’t mind it at all given the game situation. Thought it was actually kind of a weak penalty but whatever.
