I hated him in the #2 role where he looked like a deer in the headlights trying to catch deep passes from Josh against Houston. I love him in the WR4 role and on special teams. He smoked the consensus #1 CB in the AFC who’d been talking smack this week and gave him the big stomp. Love it. Sign him for a couple more years at 3 mil/per. He’s earned it and worth it. Fits Buffalo to a T. The Houston game, I still say those passes were more on Allen than Hollins...but Hollins was still the whipping boy around here and a lot of people had not warmed to him yet so they blamed it all on him in the midst of what was easily Allens worst game since emerging and probably his worst game as a pro. First one was bad ball placement on what should have been an easy throw and the second one Allen passed up 3 wide open players (and where he was supposed to go with the ball) to take an ill advised, and unexpected by both the coaches and Hollins deep shot because Allen said he thought he saw something pre-snap there. And Allen took ownership of both those plays after the game. As far as the penalty today...I loved seeing the fire and swagger...but the flag was fair. What no one is even mentioning, is that the first contact is Hollins pushing Surtain's head into the ground as he first gets up before he even steps over him. So flag was fair but it didn't bother me and allowed us to chew more clock anyway. This team has needed more bravado, attitude, and swagger for years. Edited January 13 by Alphadawg7 3 2 Quote
Buffalo_Stampede Posted January 13 Posted January 13 Lead the Bills WRs in snaps, like always. Gunner on punts. Blocking his tail off in the run game. I say this respectfully but I don’t think there’s ever been an offense like the Bills offense in decades. That’s because of Mack Hollins. It’s not talked about enough that he leads the Bills WRs in snaps. 3 Quote

Coach will let him know. He’ll be under control vs Baltimore. Yep lol that was Iverson I forget who said it but 'I'd much rather have a guy you gotta get to settle down a bit than a guy you gotta try and get up for gametime 1 2 Quote

I honestly thought I’d seen everything until then! 3 Quote

That was a full on assault LOL, pushed his head into the ground, took a big step over, then jammed his foot into his chest donkey kick planting him in the ground. Surtain is going to need therapy after that abuse. 1 Quote

He didn't do *****, what he stepped over the guy that tackled him, so what the thing that the refs penalized him for was pulling his leg free when the defender latched on to it, how is that on him? He kicked him. Honestly lucky he didn't get tossed. Watch it again, he kicks him in the shoulder with is back foot. Quote

Watch it again he kicks his foot loose, does it hit the guy, sure, but that doesn't happen if the guy isn't pulling his leg messing with his balance. 1 Quote

Cooper has made a big impact- but some overstate it while not giving enough credit to our depth being better than ever and our depth making a difference. 2 Quote

Cook and the O-line have more to do with this offense being great because they have taken so much pressure off Josh, allowing him to be patient and methodical for the first time in his career. 1 Quote
