TheFunPolice Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Love is always getting hurt, that's something he needs to figure out if possible. The real issue is decision making. He regularly just heaves up prayers into double or triple coverage and sometimes it works but often it doesn't. 1 Quote
GunnerBill Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago The Packers made so many mistakes. They played a terrible game top to bottom. Penalties, turnovers, injuries, missed tackles. That was probably their worst game of the season at the wrong time. Felt like Bills - Bengals two years ago. Couldn't get out of their own way. 1 minute ago, TheFunPolice said: Love is always getting hurt, that's something he needs to figure out if possible. The real issue is decision making. It's easier to dial an aggressive decision maker back than make a tentative one more courageous though. 1 1 Quote

People will say there’s times he does but the ones I’ve seen is when the game is already out of hand. Does he have talent? Absolutely. Is he a starting quarterback in this league? For sure. Is he a definitive game changer? I don’t think so. He isn’t a bad option though. Definitley top half of the league. He lost all his top receivers the past 2 games, lineman, he didn’t have optimal conditions. The refs handing Philly the ball and pretty much 7 points didn’t help either. Next year could be defining for him, he did take a step back this year, needs to figure out how to stay healthy. Quote

IMO he has a negative, nasty personality that rubs off on the players. Plus his teams always come up short. The Packers under his leadership have never been a smart team. Just run into the brick wall until it (or you) breaks. Love is a very likeable guy who plays hard but just might be injury prone. I think the negativity makes him press and is part of why the team routinely melts down in big moments. A team often takes on the personality of its coach and the HC is seemingly always about to blow a gasket. Quote

Not sure he has ever been fully healthy though. I still think he is a good Quarterback. It’s the same story with Love - he throws a nice ball - but that offense operates with zero urgency. Not just this game. I can give him a pass for certain things but some of the decisions were questionable. Again, I admit there’s talent there and he’s of starting quality I’m just not a fan of his for the reason when it comes crunch time and you need him he seems to fold until it’s too late. Absolutely agree that he’s got injury problems that probably lend him not being on the same level as last year. 1 Quote

One of the better ones in the league imo. that said, I think he is largely overrated. His playoff resume is disastrous. Could you imagine if the Bills got the 1 seed, went to a conference championship and lost to a team whose QB threw 8 passes? Or if the Bills had their QB win MVP, get the one seed, and put up 10 points in the divisional round in a loss? Based on the resume, the outlier appears to be last years upset of the Cowboys. 1 Quote

Behindenemylines Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Love seems to the kind of QB that will keep you perpetually drafting at number 22. Quote

Definitely seems like a conflict of interest but I can't imagine owning 5% of the Raiders is a FT job Quote
