Payton out there yelling at franklin on that fourth down play they didn't get is peak payton.  Just screaming at people for the sake of screaming.  He could have told him what he did wrong on the sideline but he had to go out on the field, while another player is injured mind you and scream at him.

It sucks to miss sacks but the analytics show (and I believe) that pressures are a more consistent indicator of success than sacks alone. Missed throws, INT and dump offs can end drives too

Nix got really lucky he didn't have 2+ picks today with all the high passes, tipped balls and off target throws under pressure.

I feel the same way.

 

Buffalo now finally has an excellent O line along with a great run game! That Buffalo ground game is so important in taking the heat off the QB while eating the clock. Keeps the opposing offense off the field and the Bills defense fresh. Good stuff!
