Bills Broncos Post Game Thread

This is what we need next week, but It's going to be tough.

 

We NEED this defense to finally show up against a competent QB in the playoffs. It'll be horrible if we have home losses to Mahomes, Burrow AND Lamar in the playoffs.

I think we were practicing this gameplan for next week, Broncos could never get into rythm offensively...

 

The only low point today was, at times, the pass pro from Edwards, #99 of the Broncos had a good day against him.

 

Another low point was the fake punt, you just can't allow that to happen, knowing full well of Peyton's tendencies...

Khalil has just been live on SKY TV in the UK from a room with a ceiling tile that looked like it was falling out and another with water damage.

We wore them out in the 2nd half. Their D was gassed and then we separated. Our defense has played really well the last month and hopefully that continues for 4 more weeks 

 

The most dead cap in the league and made the playoffs. Credit to Sean Payton and that organisation. They do feel a bit like the 2019 Bills to me. But their Quarterback has a lower ceiling. I think they are gonna give the Chiefs issues the next few years though. Hopefully LAC do too.

I admit to doubting our defense, especially after that opening drive... but they sure did come through.

They are healthy. I sympathized a bit last year with how we were scraping the bottom of the barrel at LB against a great offensive coach. This year, I'm ok if they give up a bunch of points, I'm ok if they lose, but they better look a hell of a lot better than any of our efforts in past years.

I don’t really think the offense stagnated.  (We had one punt.)  Just a couple bad plays in the red zone.  Otherwise, looked very good against probably a better defense than Baltimore’s.

That’s fair. My point was we came away with three twice early. If that happens next week I fear we can find ourselves in the LAR game mindset where we were in big time chase mode the remainder of the game. Or like the last ravens game

A gorgeous outcome. They scored right out of the gate and the Bills completely shut them down over 60 minutes like an absolute bully. It wasn’t perfect but they wore them down and dictated everything after that initial score. It was a total statement win by the bills. And unlike the Steelers who the ravens only beat by 14, the broncos were coming in hot, playing their best football. 
 

And the ravens will still probably get all the hype this week and if we are lucky they will make us a home dog.

I did love Romo’s rooting for Nix and the Broncos.   
 

Kudos to Brady and the OLine for making the game plan based on the 3 headed RB monster.

Romo was even more insufferable than usual today for the playoffs!
